Chapter 9

👑Ben's P.O.V👑
I am with Audrey and Chad. Chad has a black eye and its all swollen. I wonder what happened to him...I haven't seen Evelyn so im going to find her after. "Those kids are trouble", Chad said as we see Mal in her locker and the locker that was spray painted. "Come on, Chad. Give them a chance", I say. "No offense Benny-bear, but you are just too trusting. Look, I know your mom fell in love with a nasty beast who turned into a prince. But with my mom, the evil fairy was just the evil fairy. That girl's mother", Audrey said pointing at Mal.

"I think you are wrong about them. I'll see you later", I said as I walk towards Mal. "Hey", I said and she responded," Hey". "How was your first day?", I ask. "Super", she said smiling. She has a 'cute' smile. Wait im with Audrey... "You should really think about taking this talent off the locker and into art class. I could, uh, sign you up. What do you think?", I said. "Way to take the fun out of it", Mal said as she rolled her eyes and then walked away. She was following Jane daughter of Fairy Godmother into the restroom. Oh well.. Im going to find Evelyn.

🐾Carlos P.O.V🐾
I went to look for Evelyn in class, but she wasn't there...were should I look now?...I know im going to find Ben. Ok lets go find Ben.

❤️Evelyn's P.O.V❤️
I got changed and went to my special spot. ONLY Ben knows about this spot. I come here to think, cry and let all my emotions run. I think here about school, royal advisor stuff, Audrey and everything. I almost always don't let no one pass me but Chad is just...he is just...I don't know.Im here to think about EVERYTHING. My feelings toward Carlos. Chad being a JERK. Audrey and the ENTIRE school hating me.

🐾Carlos P.O.V🐾
"Ben!!!", I yell as I see Ben walking and then he turns around and walks towards me. "Whats up Carlos,", Ben said. "Have you seen Evelyn?", I ask and he responds, "I was looking for her too. I thought she was with you...since you were with her last in the Tourney Field". I can see that he is worried. "Something happened in the field with Chad and she ran off crying", I say looking down. "Ohh. Now I know why Chad had a black eye. You punched him, right?", Ben asked and I nodded.

"That JERK what did he do to her now?!", Ben said angry. I explain to him the WHOLE thing. "Im going to..that JERK...he is...", Ben said really mad. "Yeah but he was right about 1 thing", I say and look down. "What is that?", Ben said with a confused look. "He was right when he said that Evelyn will never fall for a guy like me", I say and then Ben chuckled. What? Why did he chuckle?

👑Ben's P.O.V👑
"He was right when he said that Evelyn will never fall for a guy like me", said Carlos. Dude I've seen the way Carlos looks at Evelyn and I know he likes my sister and will do anything to protect her. She tried to change the subject when I was talking about her liking Carlos so I bet she likes him too. I chuckle at Carlos's words and he looks confused. "How do you know that? And what do you mean a 'guy like me'?", I asked Carlos and he looked up. "A villain", he responds and looks back down.

"Dude you are not a villain. Your parents were and you don't have to be like them. Like Evelyn says all the time 'our parents stories are written, but ours are Not Written'. Evelyn will fall for a guy like you...and im happy that you like my sister", I say and he looks up with a smile. "I do like Evelyn and I don't want anything bad happening to her. Do you think I can be good?", he asks me. "Carlos you can be good. Evelyn knew you could thats why she chose YOU in the first place", I say.

"What do you mean?", he asked confused. "Me and Evelyn each got to chose 2 kids from the Isle and she chose you and Evie because she saw you 2 were different. You looked nice and sweet and that was different from everyone else even for Mal or Jay. She is REALLY smart and she chose you because she knew you could be good", I told him and he was just thinking. If he breaks my sister's heart I will break his face...he looks sincere and just misunderstood by everyone. I KNOW they all have good hearts .

🐾Carlos P.O.V🐾
I was thinking about Ben's words. Wow...Evelyn chose me out of hundreds of villain kids. I hope Ben doesn't kill me now that I admitted I like her. "Carlos I know you like Evelyn and I am telling you NOW if you hurt her you will be dealing with me. I love my sister and I know that you do too", Ben says and im relieved. "Thanks Ben I promise I won't hurt her. What is the deal with her and Chad? Did they recently break-up?", I ask and he looks mad.

Probably he didn't want to talk about it. "You will have to talk with Evelyn about that and I bet I know where she is", Ben says. I am curious of where she is so I ask,"Where?". "Its her special place that only I know of and now you too", Ben said and then continued,"Its far from here in a green forest. Its the only bench with a little roof and red roses around it. You will see when you find it. That place calms her down".

"What if she doesn't like me? What is she doesn't want me there?", I say. "Ok we will go together after school and after your practice", Ben said and I say,"Do we have to practice? Im no good". "We have to Carlos and maybe Evelyn will come back to your practice because she never misses an appointment", Ben said. Maybe she will come. "Do you think she likes me?", I ask Ben since he never answers that. "I don't know Carlos, but I think she does. You have been there for her and are there for her unlike a prince that was NEVER there and was a self-centered brat", Ben said and I bet he was referring to Chad.

"Its Chad, right?", I ask and he nods. Well... Chad was horrible. We have to get to class. "Well thanks Ben and hopefully Evelyn shows up", I say. "Yeah well bye we have to get to class and one last thing you are now my official bro", Ben says. "Bye bro", I tell Ben and as and he waves and we walk opposite sides. Wow...Ben trusts us a lot. Ben is going to be like a brother now...what have I gotten myself into? Im here for the wand...not falling in love or finding a friend. I don't know anymore...I don't know. So maybe Evelyn could like a guy like me. Well off to the last minutes of science and then 2 more classes and then with Ben to practice.

❤️Evelyn's P.O.V❤️
I have been in my special spot and I feel better. Im more relaxed. I love this place because it reminds me of my parents story. It has red roses all around and it reminds me of our castle with big rose bushes and it is just wonderful.  I have to go back...a long walk. I have to go back and help Ben with Carlos. I have to talk to Carlos. Ben maybe in the night. I DON'T want to even see Chad at all. Im too mad at him. Well im going back hopefully I make it in time for the practice
