Hunter

"What about these?" I held up a bouquet of different color tulips.

"Ew." Rose said.

"Those are ugly." Mom took them out my hand and placed them back where they were.

"Thanks for being so honest." I mumbled under my breath.

Me and Taylor's three month anniversary is coming up and I wanted to get her something. She finds that stuff sappy and gross but since she hasn't talked to me in three days I figured flowers couldn't hurt.

"What kind of flowers does she like?" Mom asked.

I shrugged, "I don't know."

"Get her roses." Rose handed me the dark red flowers.

"You got roses money?" I asked.

"No, but mommy does. She spends money on me all the time." She said in a matter of fact tone.

"Hunter, you don't put a price tag on your girlfriend." Mom told me.

"Yes I do, it's called nothing more than twenty dollars."

She rolled her eyes, "Get the flowers."

I huffed in annoyance, "Fine, but she might stab me anyways."

"That's not funny, Hunter." Mom scowled.

"Who said I was joking?" I asked.

I'm surprised she hasn't already. She seemed pretty pissed for whatever I did in her delusional ass brain.

I walked to Taylor's locker with the roses in my hand. She saw me approach her and her eyes fell to the bouquet. I got her more than flowers but she's not getting it until she act like she has some sense.

"Happy three month anniversary." I handed her the flowers.

She took the flowers, "How sweet..."

I watched her roll her eyes before carelessly dropping them on the floor. I unintentionally pushed her into the locker causing people to look at us, but they eventually went on with their business.

"Don't put your hands on me again, Hunter or I swear I'll-"

"You'll what?" I got in her face not receiving a reply. "Those bitch ass threats don't scare me."

Her nose flared as she crossed her arms.

"You going to tell me your problem?" I asked.

"I thought you said there was nothing going on with you and Jayda." She spat.

"There isn't." I looked at her confused.

"That's not what I saw." She rolled her neck.

"You talking about that kiss?" I asked making her purse her lips.

"She kissed me. I didn't kiss her back. I wouldn't do that to you. Why can't you trust me?"

"Because you're you. I've seen you dog every girl you've messed with." She said.
