Hello?! Evie?! Mal! Finally! I'vebeentryingtocallyou! *she says whispering* Whereareyou?! *by now half of us were awake because I was loud* I'mwithBelle!GilandGaston arebringingussomewhere. YesIwill! Bye --------------------------------------------------------- "What did she say?" Ben asked. Everyone was up. "Gil and Gaston are taking her and Belle to the isle. But she doesn't know where on the isle" I said. "We have to save your dad first" I added talking to Ben. "He's probably tied or locked up." Jay said. Ben put his arm around me. I rested my head on his shoulder and looked up at him into his eyes. "We'll find them. Don't worry" he said. I got a phone call. "Hello?—Ok we're on our way—" I said. "Who was it?" Carlos asked. "It was Evie she said that he knew that Evie told me we're going to the isle so he turned around and now he's going back to the castle. " I replied. Afewhourslater... We're finally in Auradon! We all got out of the car and ran inside. We looked everyone. We found them in the 4th ballroom. "Look who finally showed up" Gil said. He took out a gun and pointed it towards Evie. This was just like my dream. "Gil, put it down" I said walking towards him slowly. "One more step and I shoot you" he said pointing the gun at me. "Gil, you wouldn't" I said. "Yes I will" he replied. "Mal don't" Ben said from behind. If this is gonna help getting Evie and Belle safe then I'm doing it. I was about to take a step forward but Ben pushed me out of the way and received the bullet. "BEN!" I yelled. I got up from the floor and ran to his side. My mother appeared and sent Gil and Gaston far away. "Someone get us an ambulance now!" I said. "Ben please talk to me, Ben" I said crying. "Mal" he said softly. "Why did you do this?" I asked him. "I did this for you" he said softly and stopped. "I love you Mal" was his last words before he shut his eyes. "Ben, No. Please don't leave me. BEN" I said crying. The paramedics came in and took him. We all went to the hospital. Afewminuteslater... "We will let you know how he is when he comes out of surgery. But it seems that he got shot near the heart so he might not wake up..." the nurse said and went into the room. I waited with the rest of my friends in the waiting room. "I'm going home to cry myself to sleep. Call me when he's out of surgery" I said trying not to cry. I wouldn't be able to live without Ben. I need him in my life. He can't die now. "I'll come with you" Ryan said. "I don't think that's a good idea... I'm going with her" Evie said. We left. We got outside and there was the press. How do they always find out? They started asking questions and taking pictures. "I can't take this anymore. Just stay here please" I told her and ran to the limo. "MAL!" Evie yelled but I got in and we drove off. I got to the castle and went inside. I ran upstairs to my room and shut the lights and I closed my blinds. I slid down the wall and started crying. This is all my fault. Evie's POV I saw Mal run out and I was going to go after her but I had no car. "Please can you all give me space" I yelled. They backed up. "Can someone drive me to the castle. I promise I will answer your questions" I asked. A lot of people raised up their hands. I pi led the first one I saw. It was 2 guys and a girl. We got into their van. The camera was on me the whole time. "Can you go fast please I really need to get to Mal" I said. "Ok start the questions" I added. They went faster and they asked me the first question. "What happened?" She asked. "Well the King got shot by one of my friends. Well not really a friend" I answered. "Is he ok?" She asked. "Well he's going into surgery right now" I replied. "Why did Queen Mal run out?" She asked quickly. "Well because we found out some very sad news and she couldn't take it anymore so that's why I'm going after her. I know she really needs a friend. And no I cannot tell you the news we got" I said. "Anyways we're here so thank you so much for driving me! " I said and got out of the van. I looked up and I saw the lights and blinds closed in Mal's room. I ran inside and upstairs to her room. I knocked. But all I heard was Mal crying silently. I feel bad for her. "Mal open up" I said knocking. She opened up and hugged me right away. She cried onto my shoulder. "Mal I'm so sorry. This is all my fault" I said. "No its not. Its mine. I knew this was gonna happen and I should've done something" she replied crying. Mal's POV I cried for so long into Evie's shoulder. "Common, you should rest" Evie said. We went to my bed and I lied down on her lap. I slowly fell asleep. 2 hours... "M, wake up. He's out of surgery" Evie said waking me up. My eyes flew open. "Is he awake?" I asked. "I don't know. Belle didn't say anything about that" she replied. I got up from bed and changed my clothes to a gray top and a short black skirt. Evie fixed my hair into braids because it was a mess. I put on my sandals and we ran out the door.

We took our sunglasses and put them on because I didn't want anyone seeing my eyes. They were all puffy and red with black circles under them. We ran to the car and we drove off. Once the press that's waiting at the hospital saw the lino arrive, they immediately came straight towards us. The limo driver opened the door and Evie got out first. She made sure that everyone backed up. "Please make a part we have to get in!" Evie yelled. Everyone slowly backed up and made a path. "Mal common" she added. I got out and we walked quickly inside. We joined up with the others. "Hey Mal. How are you?" Belle said and hugged me. "I guess I'm okay." I said. "Sis why don't you take your sunglasses off" Jay said. "Yeah I'd rather not. Trust me, you don't want to see how I look" I said. The doctor came towards us. "Queen Mal, may I speak with you?" He asked. I nodded and went with him. Everyone was watching me. "Wow this is kind of hard to say... Well um King Ben is out of surgery but I'm afraid that it did not work. It was too close to the heart and right now he's basically running on a machine that's breathing for him. I'm sorry Quern Mal but King Ben will not make it" he explained. "What? No. That can't be right. This can't be happening. Please tell me this isn't happening" I said with tears in my eyes. "I'm sorry Queen Mal" he said and bowed. Then he walked away to my friends. No, no. This can't be happening. This is a dream. All the doctors around were looking at me with sad faces. I was backing up slowly. I bumped into a bench. "No, no. This can't be happening" I said with tears running down my cheeks. All the doctors looked down. "Evie please tell me this isn't happening" I asked her. She had tears in her eyes. She didn't know what to say. "No, no!" I said and ran outside. But I just remembered that the press is outside. Someone caught my arm.
