Mal's POV
I woke up and looked around. My friends weren't here. They probably went downstairs. I turned around and kissed Ben softly. "Benny wake up. They went downstairs" I whispered. He smirked and rolled on top of me. He kissed me. "I didn't get to do this yesterday morning and night. I think now would be the time" he said and kissed my neck and lips. I giggled. "I love you" he said. "I love you more" I replied and kissed him passionately. "I don't think so" he replied and kissed my neck softly a lot of times. I put my arms around his neck while he kissed me. My hands went up and down his body. I reached his arms and squeezed them. "Have you been working out?" I asked. "Maybe... But I just found a way where I can be with you and workout at the same time" he said. He started doing push ups but when he would go down he would kiss me. I laughed. "And what do I do? I'll be bored out of my mind" I said. "How? I'm kissing you" he replied and lied down next to me. We turned around to face each other. "Can I ask you something?" He asked. "Anything" I replied and kissed his slowly. "You have to promise to answer honestly" he said. "Yes I promise. What's wrong?" I asked. "During our slow dance... Why did you run out?" He asked and looked at me. I kinda saw it coming. "Well... When we were dancing I was really concentrated on the song. And I knew it was about me and I couldn't dance with the person I love while listening to a song that's written from someone who still loves me. I never really intended to hurt him that badly but I just couldn't do it. I knew it was hurting him even more by us dancing to his song that's about me. I'm sorry, if it was another song I wouldn't of ran away" I said. "Thank you for telling me the truth" he said and kissed me. "I would never lie to you. Except if its something that I'm doing for you" I replied and kissed him slowly. He brought me closer to him. We kissed passionately but slowly. That's all we did for about 5 minutes. "Well I'm going to get ready for the game" he said and got out of bed. I went to the edge on the bed on my knees. "Wait" I whined. He turned around and walked back to me. I hugged him. "Please don't let go now" I said. "I won't don't worry" he said and held me tighter. I smiled. The babies started crying. I sighed. "Leave them, they're gonna stop. Let's just get dressed first" I said and went into the closet. I found one of my school spirit outfits and put it on.

It kinda hides my bump. I got the kids and we went downstairs. Ben came down behind us. I let the kids go run around. They have a lot of energies in the morning. I laughed while Ben and I watched them. We sat down. "So how was your night?" I asked everyone. Everyone replied the good. The gang walked in. "Just on time" Ben said. "One question... Why are you all wearing blue or yellow?" Ariana asked. "That's our school colors. Since the Auradon Knights are playing, we keep the spirit" I replied. We ate and talked. "Boys, coach wants us earlier today. Let's go" Ben said and the boys got up. "Good luck" I told him and he bent down to kiss me. "Hey boys, you better not lose because I'll make the girls play your positions" I told them. "Yeah we're not afraid" Evie said. "We'll win don't worry. Have we ever lost?" Jay asked. "Yes, but 6 years ago. The last time we lost was the day before you 4 first came to Auradon" Chad said. "K bye boys good luck" I said and shooed them off. "Now is everyone coming on the tour?" I asked. They nodded. "Do you want to split up or go all together?" I asked. "Let's go all together" Evie replied. I nodded. We got up and went outside. I started giving the tour. I saw Melody sitting on a bench. "Hey Melody how are you?" I asked and sat next to her. "I'm ok. Its just that my parents keep fighting and its really annoying so I had to get away" she explained but she hasn't looked up yet. "I think I have something to make you feel better. Look up" I said. She looked up and she was shocked. "I–Omg. How are they all here?!" She asked and stood up. "They're here for my birthday. We kinda told them everything so now we're going to watch the game" I replied. "Everyone, this is Melody" I said. "Hi Melody" Ariana said. "Am I dreaming? Because THE Ariana Grande just said hi to me" she said and looked at me. "You're not dreaming" I told her. She screamed and we laughed. "You wanna come along?" I asked. "I would love to, but I can't. If my parents see me with you they would freak" she said. "No come. When your mom finds you I'll explain to her. Okay?" I said. She nodded and we continued to give everyone a tour.
An hour later...
Ariel and Prince Eric came running over to us. "There you are! We were worried sick about you!" Ariel said and hugged her. "Why did you take my daughter?!" She yelled at me. "Take her?! Do I look like a person who would take a child?" I asked. "Look, I found Melody sitting on a bench by herself. She told me you two have problems. So I offered her to help me give a tour to my friends, which Melody adores. You probably only noticed now that she was gone! You two were probably fighting and never realized where she was or what she did! You two are irresponsible parents! If I were her mother I wouldn't be fighting first of all. And second, if I was fighting with Ben I wouldn't do it in front of our children!" I yelled back at her. "Its none of your business why we're fighting. Now Melody let's go" she said and grabbed Melody's arm. "No. I am not going. Why won't you tell me why you both are fighting?!" The 7 year old asked. Ariel and Eric looked at each other. "We keep fighting over you. You're always in our hair and you sometimes are really annoying!" She said. I gasped. "Why would you say that?! Do you have any clue how much that hurts?" I asked and pulled Melody into a hug. "I'd like to see you try and raise an 7 year old" Ariel chuckled. "You know what? I will" I said. I looked at Evie and she knew what I was thinking. "Evie and I would like to adopt Melody" I said and Evie stood next to me. "Fine. I'll send you the papers" she said. "No need to. We'll do it right now" I said and used my magic and made the papers appear. I gave the papers to her. "Wow. Why did you even have a child if you weren't going to love them?" I asked. "Good luck" she said and signed the papers and walled away with Eric. "Wow. I can't believe that just happened. I'm so sorry Melody" I said and bent down. "Thanks... Mom" she said and hugged me. It made my heart melt. "So both of you are my moms?" She asked. "Well yes. When I'm not here in Auradon Evie and Doug will take care of you. But when I'm here Ben and I are your parents" I told her. "Can we go to daddy's game now?" She asked. "Yes" I replied. Evie and her went off with Doug. I turned around to my friends. "Sorry about that. I had to do something, its not fair a 7 year old should be going through that. I've been through it and it wasn't pleasant" I said. "That was really nice Dove. I would never be able to do that" Olivia said. "I didn't think I would've done that either. But I did and I'm happy" I replied. We went to Ben's game. I sat in the bleachers next to Melody. I gestured for Ben to come over to me. He ran to me. "Can I talk to you for a sec?" I asked. He nodded. We went on the side of the bleachers. "So in this past hour, I ya know, gave a tour, adopted a child, showed my friends around Auradon, had a fight with Ar—" "wait what?!You adopted a child without my permission?! Mal you have to ask me!" He said. "But its Melody! Her parents havent been treating her well and plus they don't even love her. She signed the papers happily and left. I felt really bad for her!" I explained. "Well I'm glad you did. For me its a little weird because she was my supposed cousin... But now she's my daughter. And she's 7 right?" He asked. I nodded. He took my hand and we went to go see her. "Good luck daddy" she said. I smiled. "Thanks pumpkin" he replied. I laughed silently. They hugged and he went on the field. "What did he say?" Evie asked. "We he was mad at first but I explained everything and now he loves it" I replied. The game started. "WHOOOO GO KNIGHTS!!" Evie and I yelled. I looked at my friends and they laughed. "What? We're cheering on our school" I said.
Half time...
"How are they losing?! We've beat this team before and we smashed them!" I said. "Oh no Mal's mad. Everyone stay away" Evie said. "Technically I'm the assistant and trainer so I should be doing something. "E let's go get up" I told and she stood up. We went to the sidelines and screamed for the team to come here. They all stood in a line. "IS THIS HOW WE PLAY?!" I yelled. No one answered. "I ASKED YOU A QUESTION" I yelled. "No ma'am" they ask replied. "You need to play how we taught you. USE the tricks! Why do you think we taught you?!" Evie said. "You guys are lazy on the field. NOW GET OUT THERE AND WIN" I yelled. "Yes ma'am" they replied and ran back on the field. I sat back down. "Wow Chlo you take this seriously" Veronica said. "Well I'm the assistant coach. I've played this before and no one can beat me. So that's how you train." I replied. We continued watching the game. "So what do you think I'd the game so far?" I asked my friends. "Its cool. I wish they would have this in real life!" Colton said. I gasped. I have an idea. "What if we make a movie on our lives here in Auradon. Everyone will think its fake but our lives will be a movie! Colton you can direct it since you're a director! Then we can re create what happened in our lives!" I said excitedly. "That's a great idea! We'll call it 'Descendants' since you all are descendants of villains and heros!" He said. "That's a great idea!" Evie said. "But we have to start filing in 9 months" I said. "Ok we'll wait I'll organize everything!" Colton said. "Yay!" I replied excitedly. "Does that mean you're leaving?" Melody asked. I turned around to face her. "I'm not going anywhere" I replied and hugged her.
End of game...
We ended up tying the game. But at least we didn't lose. The Lost Boys got better. Ben went to go change and he met us at the front of the school. "Let's go home" Ben said and kissed my cheek. We started walking. "I just realized where is Melody going to sleep?" He asked. "Well for now she can sleep in our room until she gets Jane and Carlos's room. They're still moving out their stuff" I suggested. "Sure" he replied. We got in. "Dove we're gonna leave. We have a long drive ahead. We'll see you next time" Kiersey said, speaking for everyone. "Ok but you don't have to drive. Just get in your cars and I'll use my magic to transport you home" I said. "Really? Thanks" Ryan (Adames) said. I said goodbye to everyone and they went in their cars. I used my magic and they disappeared. "We need to get you clothes. Come with me" I said and grabbed Melody's hand. Evie followed. We went to one of the rooms that had full of clothes in it. Any sizes and any gender. "Pick anything you want" I said. She went around and picked her favorite stuff out. "That's gonna look good on her" Evie said and watched her grab clothes. "Yup it is" I replied and smiled. A few minutes later she finished and we helped her with the clothes. We got in our room and out them on my bed. "Thanks E we'll see you at supper bye" I said and she left. We put her clothes away in an extra closet we had. Ben watched us the whole time. I sat down next to Ben on our bed. "So where do you want to sleep tonight? With us or on the sofa bed? We promise its really comfy the sofa bed" I asked. "With you. My old mommy never let me sleep with her and my bed was the sofa so I don't want to sleep there." She said and sat in the middle of us. That made me sad. "Of course sweetie" I replied and stroked her hair. "Happy belated birthday mommy!" She said and hugged me. "Thanks honey" I replied. "Are you hungry?" Ben asked. She nodded. "Let's go eat then!" He replied. We went downstairs and sat down. Ben and I fed the babies while everyone else ate. Everyone finished eating but Ben and I still haven't eaten yet. "Can I watch TV?" Melody asked. I nodded and she left. I ate with Ben alone. "Are you sure you're ok with us adopting her?" I asked. "Yes, I'm actually happy about it. I've known for a while that Ariel and Eric were fighting but I never realized that it affected Melody" he said. I nodded. "I can't wait to have another one" Ben said. I laughed. "After this one, no more. And I mean it. 4 kids is enough. I don't need 5. I mean if we didn't adopt Melody maybe. But we did and its staying like that" I said. He sighed "fine" he replied. We finished eating and we went to get Melody. "Come watch TV upstairs with us" I said. "Yay!" She said and grabbed my hand. We went upstairs and turned the TV on. "What do you usually watch?" I asked. "Well never what I want. Mom and dad would always watch what they want" she said. "Ok well tonight you can choose" I replied. "Really?!" She asked excitedly. "Yes" I replied and laughed. "We should change into our PJs first" Ben said. We all changed into our PJs and we watched Disney Channel since that's what Melody wanted to watch. "Yay Liv and Maddie is on!" She said. I got a phone call. I reached and grabbed my phone. "Hello?—Yes I would love to!— I can't right now, but I can be there tomorrow — ok thank you so much! Bye see you tomorrow" I said and hung up. "I have to leave for 2 days. I'm going to be on Galore's magazine cover" I said. "You're leaving? But I just got you" Melody said. "Don't worry I'll be back in 2 days. Your dad's going to take good care of you okay?" I said. She nodded and we continued watching TV. The show ended and I was tired. "I'm going to bed I'm tired" I said. We all went to bed. Melody was between us. She rested her head against my arm and she grabbed Ben and I's hand. I kissed her head softly. "My mommy never used to let me do this. She didn't care about me" she said. It actually broke my heart hearing a 7 year old say that. I looked at Ben. "We promise that won't ever happen" Ben said and wrapped his arms around us. "We love and care about you" I told her. She smiled. "Goodnight" she said and fell asleep. I turned around carefully to face Ben. "I like this" I whispered. "Me too" he replied and kissed me. "Goodnight angel" he added. I giggled and kissed him. "Night" I replied and wrapped my arms around Melody. I'm glad I adopted her. That is no way to treat a child.
