Qrow x Reader

POV: Qrow

I follow Team RNJR on their journey to Haven, killing all Grimm in sight. Right after I kill off a group of the Grimm, I hear a voice and footsteps in the distance. "C'mon Storm! We've gotta make it to Mistral to repair my weapon before we start running into Grimm!" The feminine voice exclaims, followed by running and her shouting "STORM WAIT WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!?!". Soon after, a young wolf runs out of the bushes and starts barking at me. "Shh!! Quiet down kid!" I whisper-shout to the wolf.
"Storm, there you are! Oh, hello.." a girl with (h/l) (h/c) hair and (e/c) greets while picking up the wolf pup. She also looks to be about my ago, if not a year younger. There is a pair of white gauntlets with purple details and icy blue bullets on her wrists. "You a huntress?" I ask, signalling to her weapons. "Oh, yeah. I guess you could say that. I graduated from Haven but I travel and let trouble find me instead of finding trouble. My name's (y/n) by the way." '(Y/n)' explains before introducing herself.
"The name's Qrow." I state and hold out my hand for her to shake. She switches it so she's holding her wolf with one arm, then shakes my hand happily. "So, I heard that you're heading to Mistral." I say to her as we start walking before I lose track of Team RNJR. "Mhm! What about you? If you're heading there too then could I travel with you until we get to a safer area?" (Y/n) asks with hope in her (e/c) eyes.
My semblance would affect her if I did let her come, but since she needs her weapon to be repaired she might be in more danger on her own. "Fine." I reply after going over it in my head. (Y/n) cheers in delight as we continue to go along. After walk I ng a good distance together, I can sense that the kids are in danger. "C'mon! We gotta hurry!" I exclaim as I turn into a crow and start flying to where Team RNJR is located.
"Wait up!!" The (h/c) haired female rushes to catch up, but I soon lose her becuase of going so fast..

Time Skip To Near End Of Fight
POV: Reader

I finally reach where Qrow and 5 other unfamiliar people are in the abandoned village, when I notice that Qrow is about to get scraped by a scorpion faunus's stinger. "QROW!!" I shout and push him out of the way, also barely dodging the hit myself.
Everyone looks confused at my sudden appearance and Storm growls at the seemingly evil - and insane - male. I put my wolf on the ground and use my semblance - manipulating gravity - to make the others stay back where they are. I can only use my semblance on 5 people at once so if I don't want any of the others to get hurt, I can't use it on the enemy.
He swipes his tail at me while I am barely able to dodge most of them. That is until I make the stupid move to try and use my gaunlets, which takes my attention off his dangerous tail. You see, the gun part of it is jammed. So when I tried to shoot him with my weapons, they just made a little 'click' noise.
The man took advantage of me being distracted by the malfunction and swiped at my stomach. His target was hit and as I stumbled back in pain, the effect of my semblance wore off. Qrow runs over and cuts the stinger of the faunus's tail clean off, making him skurry away in pain.
"Th-thanks, heh." I say to him with hints of pain in my voice. "You're an idiot you know that?" He chuckles and places my arm around his shoulder. "Who's she Uncle Qrow?" The hooded girl - who seems younger than the rest - asks. "Let's talk after we set up a camp and bandage her up" Qrow responds and we all start walking with Storm following close by me.

Boy is this gonna be a long night....
