Y/N~

I was the happiest woman on earth ... Now that I have my own little family. The one I dreamed of ever since I was a child.

I sang to my sleepy daughter on a rocking chair in the nursery. Her caramel eyes shimmer in the moonlight that shown through the open window. The wind blew through the window shutters and into the room. It was chilly alright, but still bearable. It was fresh.

The room was illuminated by the lamp in the corner of the room, sending a cozy feeling around the room.

I reached out to baby (y/b/n)'s dresser and took a music box. I looked at my daughter and opened the box with a smile on my lips.

(A/N: Play the song :D)

"Dancing bears, painted wings, things I almost remember..

And a song, someone sings ..

Once upon a December ..

Someone holds me safe and warm ..

Horses prance through a silver storm ..

Figures dancing gracefully, across my memory.."

*Soft instrumental of the music box*

"Someone holds me safe and warm ..

Horses prance through a silver storm

Figures dancing gracefully, across my memory ..

Far away, long ago ..

Glowing dim as an ember..

Things my heart used to know, things that yearns to remember..

And a song, someone sings ..

Once upon a December~"

As the music box plays the rest of the song, my princess is already asleep. Breathing evenly and slowly. I caress her cheek with my thumb.

She's so soft .. so young .. so beautiful.

A faint knock on the door that occurs behind me. I turn and smile. It was my husband for a faithful year, Thomas Brodie- Sangster.

A smile played on his lips, his brown, loving eyes shrink and wrinkles form at the ends of his eyes. His right hand was put inside his pajama's pocket and the other still slightly attached to the brown door.

"Hi, love." He greeted, "May I join you?"

I gave him a smile, followed by a nod. He starts walking slowly towards the long, wide rocking chair where the baby and I were settled on and sat beside me, his right leg was on top of his left knee and his left arm, slung behind my back, placed on the rocking chair's width.

I couldn't get my eyes off my daughter. She is the best thing I've ever laid my eyes on.

"So, the baby keeps your eyes off mine, eh?" I heard Thomas whisper. I chuckled and looked at my husband, "No, of course not .. I love you both equally."

He leans over me and kisses my cheek with a smile that I could feel.

"I love you, Thomas." I said to him and returned the favor by kissing him on the lips.

Even though I have had these kind of kisses we share, It always feel like the first time we kissed. The butterflies flutter wildly in my stomach, tickling me. Our lips move in sync, like they were always and forever made for each other.

After a long while, we pull away, our eyes still locked into each others'. His right hand cupped my cheek and caressed it with his thumb. This was a simple touch, but it sent goosebumps throughout my body.
