"Levi." Petra said. "Don't to this." Her face was expressionless and her voice was monotone. She stared through Levi as if he wasn't even there. Levi sobbed, tears running down his face as he pressed the metal of the gun to his temple.
"I-I" Levi could barley speak. Petra walked forward, placing her
forhead against his. Levi tried to close his eyes as his finger brushed the trigger. He couldn't, he just kept staring at Petra. Levi clenched his teeth and pulled the trigger. Nothing happened. The world was still there. There wasn't any pain in his head. Petra's eyes went from emotionless to scared as she stumbled backwards. Blood was falling down her face and onto the floor.
"P-petra..." Levi said walking towards her. She stumbled away from him, trying to run. Levi's vision went black as he started sobbing and freaking out again.Levi bolted up in bed, coughing and trying to catch he breathe. He tore the sheets off and stumbled into the bathroom, grabbing a towel to wipe away the sweat and tears. Levi tuned to the mirror. His blood shot eyes looked scarier in the dim light. His face stung red making it obvious he had been crying. Levi tried to take some deep breaths to calm himself down. When that failed, he threw on a shirt and walked out the door.
Hanji and Levi had been friends for along time, so naturally Hanji knew that this happened often to Levi. When it did, Levi would go and sleep in her office, since being around another person helped him calm down.
Levi made his way through the halls as quietly as he could, before reaching to door to Hanji's lab. He pushed it open to reveal... Nothing. Levi's stomach sank. 'Of all the nights she actually decides to sleep she has to choose this one' He thought to himself. 'Stay clam, its only anxiety nothings wrong' while his mind kept this phrase on repeat, his heart seem to think otherwise, seeing as it was about to pop out of his chest. Levi blinked back more tears when suddenly he had an idea. (Y/n). Levi hadn't known (Y/n) for as long as he knew Hanji, but the two of them were quite close. Hanji and (Y/n) were best friends so they were around each other a lot. Levi thought for a moment, then walked off to find (Y/n)'s room, deciding he needed sleep. He reached (Y/n's) door, hesitating, before knocking.
"Its unlocked!" He heard someone yell from inside. (Y/n) like Levi suffered from insomnia, so it was natural for her to be awake this time. (Y/n) closed her book and walked over to the door. Levi stepped inside.
"Hey." He said.
"Hey, Levi what's wrong?" She said, noticing how depressed he looked.
"I uh," Levi stuttered, embarrassed at the situation. "Um can I sleep in here?" He said gesturing to the empty bed, since (Y/n) had no roommate.
"Of course but, what happened?"
"I just uh, I had a nightmare and I just don't want to be alone."
Levi's heart nearly burst out of his chest as (Y/n) walked forward and wrapped her arms around Levi's neck. Levi moved his still shaky hands to her back, returning the hug.
"I'm sorry, I'll go I shouldn't have-" he started to say.
"No, I understand. It happens to me too." She said, giving him a half sorry half sad smile. "Come here." (Y/n) grabbed Levi's hand pulling him down onto the mattress with her. She put one of her arms around his torso, the other resting on his chest. Levi was stiff at first, but eventually melted into her touch. He held her body closer to his, and in a matter of minutes they were both asleep. Levi didn't know it at the time, but just before he walked in (Y/n) had a nightmare to. In the end at least they were both happy. Was that cute? Idk
