Far away noises penetrated like Donnergrollen in the distance to me. Shrill peeps. The glistening white when I opened my eyes laboriously. Bright lights. The blurred spots which had all same grey colour. Sentence scraps, how the swelling and going down rushing of sea waves.

I did not understand what was said. The noises proved no sense. White smocks, faces like masks. Still. Without spark of sympathy.

„... to me the serum. "

Slowly my perception returned in fragments to me.

„... Stage consistently ... Blood pressure solidly. "

Danger! The vague fog started to thin out.

„Serum shows no effect ... Variables must become anew .... "

Me... I know this. Have they already done to me this?

„Cerebral activity changes ... Heart frequency ... Maybe it is possible to stabilise. "

Vague, hasty Klackern resounded through the tiled space.

„... have lost the last, ... Ours is 0713 ... last surviving ... the last chance ..."

Slowly the blurred spots became the silhouettes which rose about me.

„Scalpel, Injektionsna ..."

My heart fluttered when I heard these words. Still I could not see clearly. Come to you! Pain tore me from my daze. Faces, hands, blood, so much blood. Pain, infinite pain. Everything knows, white walls, white smocks, white faces.

Flashing steel blades, bloodied. Clear liquids in transparent ampoules. Pain in my side.

My hands clung in the white paper on the metal operating table. These pains. I am not able any more. My throat burnt, tore from my unheard help shout, while my rushed looking around eyes observed the men and women who darted busily here and there.

Me not paying attention. Elastic gloves bloodied. With the next pain wave the last veil of mist also burst in my head.

Even before I understood what my body did, I wanted to jump up, but something held on me. My arms were tied up to her documents.

I have to leave. So firmly I was able, I tore and ruckte in the Fixiergurten, ignored my burning skin and was finally free.

I made way brutally to grabbing hands and ran menacingly fluctuating on the only door to.

„Detain them", somebody shouted.

Steps were thundering on the tiled floor.

„Detain them!"

Everything went so fast. My mind found only again to himself when I ran along a way. I did not know how I had created to move generally forward, never mind to come from the space, however, there also remained no time my thoughts to sort.

I threatened to break down any minute. Every step sent sharp pain by my side, while I felt how something hot about my skin ran. Steps resounded. Shouts followed me, but I did not dare to turn round.

I did not know, where from I took the energy and wiped all other aside without perceiving it generally properly. I knew only that this my last chance was to be survived.

If now I did not escape, I would die. Behind me a snapping click, like the cock of a revolver who was stretched. Quiet, finally. Now I would be shot. Adrenalin went hunting by my veins, my legs became quicker. My steps and my heartbeat hammered in my head.

Only away, away, away.

„She may not be killed!"

Then a siren shrilled off, cut sharply in my ears. My heart was thundering with wild blows against my breast as if it wanted to erupt.

Out, out, out.

A shade before me. I buckled against the wall to escape from the patterns reaching for me, and pushed off me.

Further, further, further.

The next one. My brain intervened only again when I left him behind myself. Everything passed my eyes, however, only scraps reached my consciousness. Red light flickered about walls of stone, then grey metal walls. Behind me steel doors were pushed open crashing. More steps sounded. The pack had nearly caught me.

Further, further.

I ran, turned, by doors and stairs down, further and on and on. On the left, on the right, again on the left. Hot energy, wild fear, thundering drums. Shouts, calls. Then a way. Naked concrete walls leant to me menacingly against. I went hunting around a corner. And one more. Other ways. A stair I high rushed. The walls turned white.

Ways, stairs, ways. Behind me doors flew up. A landing to which I jumped down. The impact tore me almost to ground. I further ran. A door hit beside me against the wall. A shade swung. I threw down myself the landing. Hard I landed, rolled around myself and fell next down.

Pain went by my shoulder.

Panic fear of death tore me on the feet. I rest the hall down. Fluctuating I hurried towards the door before myself and buckled against it. When she swung herself up outwardly, I tripped outward.

Behind me the steps of my pursuers died away.

Then glistening light blinded me and I banged into a wall from noises.

Loud rumbling, tooting, rattling and conversation scrap. The smells which burnt in my nose. Colours, overpowering colours which hurt in the eyes. I did not understand like the ground under me seemed to move itself. A glistening light ball still blinded me. Faces turned to me. The startled exclamations when I lost ground and everything disappeared.
