"Where are you going? It's just 6 am?" tanong ni Aiz sa akin
"I need to talk to someone." Sabi ko at kinuha ang susi ng kotse ko
"Hindi naman siguro yan mapanganib di ba?" agap niya sa akin sa pagsakay
"No. It's just Jared." Sagot ko
I just can't let myself keep on puzzled on what he has said to me...
"Okay. Still, be careful." Saad niya tsaka ako hinayaang umalis
Dumerecho na agad ako sa apartment na tinutuluyan ni Red
Red is not living with his parents anymore.
Simula nung High School pa kami, actually nasa Singapore naka tira ang buong pamilya niya.
He's the only one living here.
Ang kwento niya nung Simulang nag High School siya ay lumipat sila doon pero dahil di siya maka tagal doon bumalik syang mag isa dito sa Pinas.
"Red?" I knocked

"May lakad ka?" tanong ko
"May lakad tayo." Seryosong sagot niya at hinila na ako papunta sa kotse niya
"Teka, I need to question you—" pinutol niya ang sasabihin ko
"Ask later." Sabi niya at nagmaneho

Tahimik nalang ako until 15 minutes of driving ay tumigil kami...

"Red What are we..." di niya ulit ako pinatapos at hinila lang ako papalabas ng kotse

"Who is Scarlet?" I asked as we stopped

"She died when I was 11 years old, in an accident. " sabi niya

"She is a very kind person that even if she is already dying she wants to help. " he smiled again

"I wanted to protect her...every part of her." He said
"Jared I really..." he stopped me again
"I decided to protect her. Because I love her so much...All I ever think is to protect her, protect her.." he said
