It was a Thursday afternoon
When I saw you from across the room
I captured the time, it was exactly four
You pulled a chair and sat uncomfortably
You picked your guitar and sing a song for me
And just like that, my heart opened up the door
I always remember the first line of the chorus
With that dashing smile, you simply look mysterious
You got me at ‘Hey’, Mister
That’s all that I can say
I’m forever yours if you stay that way
I wrote you a letter and you gave one back
You always say my name, I don’t know how to react
‘Hope I can meet you soon’, is that what it reads?
I jumped up and down; I blushed,
Am I head over heels?
Twas then i heard your song again
I dunno how long I’ll get your sparkly-feel
In this dream, I made you sound so real
Still, it was a fun roller coaster ride
You bet, I don’t wanna leave this world behind
Then I heard it all again
Please stay that way
I hope you stay that way
Please?
Hey!
