Verse 1:
How have you been, you said
In a letter you wrote last night
You asking me questions, yes, still gives me butterflies
Two years had passed
And this is what I can tell you honestly

Chorus 1:
I remember everything
The songs that we keep playing
In our hearts, we sound as one
Our words are full of new beginnings
And each moment were held like our every laughter
Our story is a promise of an always and forever
(Tonight, I sleep, dreaming of the best places we could be)

Verse 2:
We're in a city and we're breathing the same air
You're not too far from where I am
You're not too far from where I stand
If this longing we felt is covered with pride
Please, just remember me, because

Chorus 2:
I remember everything
The songs that we keep playing
In our hearts, we sound as one
Our words are full of new beginnings
And each moment were held like our every laughter
Our story is a promise of an always and forever
(Tonight, I sleep, hoping that you'll be brave enough for me [and choose me])

Bridge:
If chances are good
Where love can prove that we can go back to this promise
Then, we really should

Chorus 3:
I remember everything
The songs that we keep playing
In our hearts, we sound as one
Our words are full of new beginnings
As I sleep, ours is a story I will keep

I wrote you a song back in 2013, I can't believe I can feel this much for a person back then that I finished writing at 3AM. It only took me three hours, all the words were just pouring out like raindrops.
