Welcome to Beacon

Third Person POV:

A young man and woman stepped off of an Airship, taking in the atmosphere of their destination. Everyone seemed to stare at the two as they stood there. The blonde, 15-year-old woman was beautiful without even trying, with a generous hourglass figure and stormy gray eyes that seem to have an almost animalistic look to them. She wore a dark purple tight-fitted shirt with ¾ sleeves under a mini denim jacket with short sleeves, and black skinny jeans. She also wore gray boots, that seemed to be a fusion of combat boots and kicks; red fingerless combat gloves; and a necklace with a ring on it around her neck. Wrapped around forearms were a type of gauntlets with a vambrace attachment.

The young 18-year-old man was about a head taller than his female companion at 5'11, standing almost protectively over her if one were to look close enough. He had jet black, wind-blown hair, a tan face with a chiseled jawline, high cheekbones, and a body that was built like a swimmer, but a bit buffer. And since his hood was down, what really caught people's attention were his eyes; two swirling, sea green orb. He wore a black, hooded cloak ([A/N]: it's a black version of the white cloak that Tatsumi (Akame Ga Kill!) wore when he killed Ogre), a dark gray fitted shirt under a black/red light chest armor with padding (like Batman's but lighter), and blue combat slim jeans. He also wore black fingerless power gloves, black/red combat boots modified for free-running/parkour, a black utility belt, and a dragon necklace. Hanging from his waist, was a gun holster that held two rather large pistols.

"The world-famous, Beacon Academy. What a sight to behold." The boy finally spoke, as they made their way through the courtyard of the illustrious academy. They came across two girls arguing; a girl with white hair in an elegant dress and a familiar girl with red highlights and a red cloak. Wanting to end the conflict between the two, the boy interrupted them, "Well, what do we have here? Two cute girls arguing over who bumped into who? Shouldn't you two be heading to the opening ceremony?"

The red-caped girl almost instantly recognized him and gave him a bear hug.

"JAKE! I can't believe you're here! I haven't heard from you in forever! I missed you sooo much!" the young girl squealed. Jake laughed and hugged her back.

"Hello, Ruby. I've missed you as well and you're right, it has been a long time! Where's Yang? She didn't just dump you here and run off, did she?" he greeted.

The white haired girl finally seemed to recognize him and spoke, "Hold on! You're the world-famous male champion fighter, Jacob Weston aka 'Jack Frost'! You should be friends with fighters of your caliber! Why would you hang out with some child like her?"

Jake recognized the other girl as Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company. So far, he didn't like her, but he gave her the benefit of a doubt. He decided to answer her question.

"What the public doesn't know about me – and I'd like to keep it that way – is that Weston isn't my last name, it's a stage name. I'm adopted, so my name is actually Jacob Xiao Long-Rose, which makes Ruby here my sister! Does that answer your question, princess?"

Weiss was surprised by his answer and flushed in embarrassed.

"It's heiress, actually." Said a new voice. They all looked towards the source, a black haired girl approached with the bottle in her hand. She wore dark clothes that almost made her look gothic if it weren't for the guarded look in her eyes that most people would wave off as indifference. A flash of recognition appeared in Jake's and the girl's eyes, but no one noticed it. "Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, one of the largest producers of energy propellant in the world."
