Of Slugs and Wristblasters

Chapter 3

I finally started writing this! after like 2 years of nothing. xD I hope you enjoy. I only wrote maybe like 60 words before I stopped. ill put a little marker where I stopped. It'll look like this ||.

It's been a year since Daniel and Hadley were born and it's been quite peaceful the entire time. Junjie was occupied with changing Hadley's diaper when Pronto walked over sniffing the air. "Ugh, what is that atrocious smell? It smells worse than Pronto's sho... Uh I-I mean Pronto's flatulorhinkus!"

Junjie and I just busted out laughing. In the process, the diaper falls out of Junjie's hand and right on top of Pronto's head. Oh.. that smell is gonna start to seep into the walls for sure... He's going to smell like poop for weeks considering he never bathes.

Hadley gurgles when I pick her up. || Her little beety blue eyes pierce me like a stab wound. She's absolutely adorable. Junjie walks over to me holding Daniel and we proceed to change their diapers properly. Daniel's stomach growls and my face flushes. Oh god... now I have to feed her...

Junjie smirks and asks everyone to leave so I can... breastfeed them. I groan as they all walk away with clear complaints. I sigh and lift up my shirt, exposing my enlarged breasts. I cradle both of them as they both immediately latch on to my nipples. I flinch as the suck profusely at the aching nubs. I carefully sit down in the chair adjacent to my position to better get somewhat comfortable as they feed.

Junjie walks in not even 2 minutes later and I glare at the obvious amusement he's getting out of this. "Who would have guessed you'd be breastfeeding. I assumed we'd bottle feed them." He strides over to me and kisses my forehead. "It makes me jealous that they get to suck on them while I'm here just watching." I blush and glare harder. He just chuckles and sits down in the chair next to me.

After 5 minutes, they detach themselves from my nipples and yawn contently. Now that they're full they must be finally ready for a nap. Junjie takes Daniel and walks over to the stairs waiting for me to join him to bring them to our shared bedroom. The twins stay with us in our room until we have more room for them to have their own bedroom, then later on when they're older, which I don't want to think about right now... get their own separate bedrooms.

I stand up and push my shirt down and walk over to Junjie and ascend the stairs to our room. They both start to doze off in our arms erupting a small giggle from me. I open the door and settle Hadley in her little spot in their crib while Junjie does the same.

As soon as the hit the bed they immediately fall asleep. At least that's one good thing about this so far, they fall asleep easily.

Junjie turns to me and kisses me softly. "I love you Eli." I smile and embrace him. "I love you too Junjie. I'm so glad we had them and have each other. I hope this time with them lasts forever." He nods and we head out and do our measly tasks for the day.
