Chapter 7
"Listen I need to talk to you." Arjun said.
"Yeah?" I said.
"So.. Umm. Basically. I don't know how to say it but.. Firstly,this is for you." He hesitated.
I could see that he was hiding something behind him.
"Arjun? What is it?" I asked.
"Here. This is for you." He said. It was a bouquet of red roses.
"Aw,that's so sweet. Thankyou!" I said.
Flowers. That too red roses. What was happening? I was curious but scared too.
"But why?" I asked him.
"Because..." He got down on his knees.
"... Because I love you. I really really do. I've loved you since the first day I saw you. You're the prettiest girl I've ever met in my life. Niharika,I can hear the beat of my heart getting louder when I'm near you. Never in a million years did I think I'd find someone so utterly and completely perfect. Someone,who could make me happier than I thought I could ever be. Someone,who would touch my life so profoundly and just give me a whole new reason to breathe. And then. I found you. And everything changed."
And my alarm rang.
"Shit. That was a dream!" I exclaimed as I woke up. "And I'm late! I better get ready."

"Oh. My. God. Are you serious?" Sanjana shouted.
"Woah,Sanjana calm down. And lower your voice for God's sake!" I said.
"Sorry. But this is... Wow!" She said.
I told her and Ria about my dream. And Sanjana was overreacting.
"You know,this could be true." Ria added.
"What?" I asked her.
"All this. The dream. Maybe he'll actually ask you out today!" Ria said.
Yes,she was overreacting too.
"Guys,please no. Please. NO. This is not happening. I know it won't." I said.
"Will you shutup and listen to us for one time?" They said,together.
"Guys. It's not-" Before I could complete,Arjun patted my shoulder and I turned around.
"Hii!" I said.
"Ahem ahem!" Ria and Sanjana said as they poked me. I narrowed my eyes at them and asked them to leave.
"Basically,I wanted to talk to youu." Arjun said.
"Yeahh?" I don't know why,but I was getting a very weird feeling. As if something unwanted was going to happen.
And then whatever I saw in the dream happened. All of it. Just as I saw it.
Then he came forward to hug me. And I hugged him back. I almost had tears in my eyes.
We were still hugging when he said,"Hey listen."
"Ya?" I answered.
"I love you." Arjun Thappar whispered in my ears,while I was still in his arms.
