Nate's P.O.V 

i walk to my best friend Y/N's house in the rain with my hood up cause i just dumped my now ex girlfriend Morgan (i have nothing against her ) cause i realised i had feelings for someone else, i knock on her door lightghly enough for her to hear but not get scared she opens the door and sees me drenched to the bone " oh my gosh Nate come in you're soaking here take this " Y/N says as she hands me a towel and takes my lether jacket off that was stuck to me " i'll be back in one second with some clean clothes and some tea for you is that okay " she asks with a worried look but also a smile " thats fine thank you so much " i say back with a smile she runs upstairs and comes back a few minutes with sweatpants and a vans warped tour shirt( sorry if youre not into stuff like that ) ,i realised it was the shirt from when my old band Count Me In played and she came with me  i smile knowing that she still has that shirt from maybe 10 years ago "dont judge me for the sweatpants i like mens clothing okay " she giggles as i chuckle at her comment she runs off into the kitchen and brings out a cup of tea and hands me it " where is yours ?" i ask " oh i didnt want any i thought i would make you some i dont want you getting a cold on me now do i nathan ?" she giggles as she ruffles my hair i put my tea down and she sits beside me " so why did you come so late is everything okay ?" she askes and stares into my eyes with worry "ugh yeah everything is great actually i ugh me and Morgon broke up " i tell her she looks angry " oh my i will hurt her she has broken your poor heart , you deserve so much better than her anyway " and she went on and on i just stare at her and smile at how caring she is and i finally spoke up as i grabbed her hand and laced my fingers with hers " Y/N i broke up with her cause well i have feelings for someone else " i tell her and her face looks puzzled and sad at the same time " oh ... well i hope you and this new girl have a great life together " she takes her hand away from mine and looks away and wipes a tear that fell from her eyes 

Y/N's P.O.V

i take my hand out of his grip and look away and wipe the tears from my eyes and hope he doesnt see i love him so much i thought it was finally my chance to tell him " Y/N whats wrong did i  hurt you or something please dont cry " Nate says as he places his hands on my chin and wipes my tears away with his thumb and i see his eyes flicking from my eyes and to my lips he slowy moves closer to me and closes his eyes and kisses me , im in shock but i kiss back instantly and i wrap my arms around his neck and play with his hair a bit 

Nate's P.O.V 

i done it i finally done it i kissed my best friend or well my love of my life after we finish kissing i put my head on her forehead and just smile at her as she smiled back at me " i love you Y/N i always have and i always will " i say as she cries again but i can see its joy from the glisten in her gorgeous Y/E/C eyes " i love you too Nate so much so so much "
