HI EVERYONE!!! This is a story I've been thinking about for months so I decided to finally give it a shot. It's about a daughter of Hermes who gets taken to Olympus high a place for demigods. This was inspired by the PJO and HOO series. But none of the characters from that series will be in my story. Camp halfblood will not be in this story. Well let me stop this authors note and go to the story.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My name is Rickey Greenleaf. I live in mistress Susan's school for girls in Australia. I've been in this hellhole ever since four years ago when my mum decided it would be good for me. I don't mind at all. It's better than being with my bloody stepdad. Plus I still have my baseball and cat spike. My baseball is the one of the only things my father left me. I take it with me everywhere. It also helped me fit in with the boys baseball team. Kinda. I mean I had to start a petition to get on and the boys hate me with a passion. But I'm still on the team.
Any ways beside for my baseball my cat is the only other thing I have from my father. My father must not have been so dead beat after all. At least he also left me with a cat and not only a plain baseball. My cat spike follows me everywhere. And I mean EVERYWHERE. Even when it's against my will. For tutoring she follows me to the room and waits outside the door. For baseball practice and games she watches under the bleachers. When I take Charlotte to the park she sits next to the swing. Not that I'm complaining. I wouldn't tell anyone but she makes me feel safe. Like having a personal body guard. Charlotte is my step sister. She's four but already a pretty little picture. She has short black curls that are just like Shirley temples. And they look so cute against her pale skin and rosy cheeks. Her eyes are a little unsettling. Their dark blue but sometimes look purple. If you compare me to her I look more like a nerd than I am. My brown curls falls a little farther than my shoulders. My plain brown eyes are a little to big and bright. Plus with my heart shaped face and rosy cheeks I look like I'm six. When really I'm turning thirteen in the summer. My story doesn't truly start its adventure until one faithful day that unfortunately starts when I'm in trouble at school.
