Sorry I haven't updated in a while! So here is another one of my non-vague ideas.
So a girl, is a straight A student, perfect pretty much. She was accepted to all colleges she applied to. {insert one of the boys} was her best friend who was always in her shadow. But then one day, idk, it's up to the author and she loses everything including her parents. As {Insert the same boy} finds out, he pretends he doesn't know her and ends up going to the Yale/Harvard/etc.
Okay it's up to the author from there.
