Prologue

What do you call the child of two gods? Are they too, a god? Are they simply a very powerful being?

These questions I could never find the answers to, haunted me all my life. It was the point of knowing my purpose, knowing what I was created to do.

I didn't want to become a god, like my parents before me. No, I wanted to live on Earth. I wanted to have a normal life, like my mother always told me about.

That didn't seem to be the case though. They were determined to have me be their successor rather than have a survival game.

Yes, I know all about the survival game, they told me everything. They told me about the pain it had caused them both. How they had to kill their friends and family. They told me that it was something they would never wish upon someone else.

So, they created me to be the next in line. If they wanted a successor, they shouldn't have given me free will.

I don't want to be a god.
