-vanessa's pov

i made a plan with the boys, apart from joey. i'm going to say i missed my flight and the next flight wasn't until tomorrow. but i'm going to make him think that and then go to the end of the meet and greet line and surprise him.

- skip to airport

i dropped my luggage off and sat around for a while, i decided to call joey.

'calling jojo😍'

"hey jojo"

"hey cutie, you at the airport ?"

"yeh but bad news, i missed my flight. you told me the wrong time or the papers said the wrong time but the next flight isn't until tomorrow"

"that can't be right, this sucks"

"i know joey i know but it's what happened and what happens happens"

'flight 8256 boarding now' the lady through the intercom said, i gotta end this call now

"uh joey i have to go my uber's here to drive me home, i love you and miss you heaps"

"love you too b, have a safe trip tomorrow bye"

he sounded sad and mad. this is my fault. i got on the plane and opened snapchat.

"shit"

i can't snapchat anything because joey will know and his fans will screenshot. ugh.

- skip 15 hour plane ride because i can

i walked out of the plane and the boys said some of them would meet me here. weston, mario, tayler and hunter are meeting me here.

- joeys pov

"hey joey we're going to go and buy some food okay?" tayler said

"oh i'll come" i said

"no it's fine, mario, weston, hunter and i will just go there won't be enough space in the uber's, sorry little bro" he said patting my shoulder.

"uh guys it's 2:30 we gotta go" mario said looking at his phone.

- tayler's pov

vanessa's plane lands in 15 minutes and we have 15 minutes to get there! rushes. we said we'd meet her at the baggage claim. my phone dinged, she texted me

vanessa🌧: my plane landed but i'm walking past security
tayler🔥: ok we're like 5 minutes away
tayler🔥: traffic :(
vanessa🌧: ok uh i have to find baggage claim first...
tayler🔥: follow the signs child.
vanessa🌧: true gtg see you in a minute

we parked the car and we all jumped out. i locked the car and ran inside following the signs.

"this way" i pointed

they all followed me and we found baggage claim. no sight of vanessa. i walked around a heap until i could see her. she was standing there on her phone leaning against her suitcase.

"hey vanessa" i yelled out

she looked up and ran over to me, she jumped and i hugged her. i put her down and hugged her even more.

she hugged the rest of the guys and we made our way back to the van.

- back to the venue.

we are meant to be inside now for the show but we're not meant to be on stage yet so it's okay. we planned for her to go at the back of the meet and greet line to meet joey, he's first in the line so it makes it even easier.

we said for her to stay with our manager because she's in on it too. she made sure she wasn't near joey or in sight of joey.

vanessa was at the back of the line and the meet and greet was coming to an end. i was actually so excited and it wasn't even for me.

- vanessas pov

it was getting close but i kept my head down so nobody noticed me. a lot of his fans know who i am so it doesn't help.

i was up next but he couldn't see my face, he head was down and i had my hoodie over my head. they were recording so i looked up and took my hood off. he stood there shocked, he couldn't move.

i ran up to him and jumped on him, i started crying and he did too. he put me down and put his hands on my face,

"you lier" he giggled

"i had to surprise you" i smiled

"god i missed that smile" he said pressing his lips on mine.

i'm touring with these guys for the rest of their tour but joey doesn't know.

"when do you have to leave?" he asked frowning

"in a month" i smiled

"your touring with us for the rest of tour!" he yelled out jumping around in circles

gosh this boy is adorable.
