[ six months later ]

it's been a long six months. in these six months i've been on 2 tours, one went to north carolina, i visited family and old friends. i haven't seen anybody, i haven't been interested in a new relationship. it's been hard.

girls have been throwing themselves at me when they see me at the mall and just out in general. it annoys me honestly, just because my girlfriend isn't here doesn't mean i'm just going to move on in a click.

charles has gone back to public school and has slowed down on social media. and me? i'm still active on my social media, i still go live, make snapchats, post instagram photos, all that happiness.

i was unpacking my clothes from tour when i heard a knock at the door. i felt a weird feeling in my stomach. i went downstairs to open the door anyways and it wasn't what i had expected.

a girl. a girl was standing in front of me. she was beautiful. there was something about her. what am i saying?!

"can i help you?" i questioned

"do you not remember me?" she asked looking a little sad.

i felt bad not knowing who she is and then i remembered. her cute little freckles across her nose. the way her smile formed. the way she spoke. it was her.

"v-vanessa?" i stuttered

she smiled and i began to tear up. she hugged me and i stood there in shock. i couldn't move, the girl of my dreams is alive.

"what happened, i thought yo-" she cut me off

"i needed a little break from everything. but i'm glad i came back" she said kissing my cheek.

"i missed you" i screamed

"i missed you too" she said giggling

oh how i missed that cute laughed.

"lets go see charles!" she whispered/yelled. i nodded and followed her up the stairs.

she stopped at his door and took a deep breath. she knocked on his door and waited patiently.
he opened his door and instantly began to tear up.

he pulled her in for a hug without saying anything. she was now crying too.

wow this is a great day.
