I yawn and stretch as I wake up and...ow. Shouldn't have stretched, my leg hurts now. I find myself leaning against a tree in Mel's thick coat. Speaking of Mel, where is she?
I look around the nearby trees searching for her, but she's nowhere to be seen. I worry a bit, then I worry even more when I hear a stick break behind me. I turn around quickly just to see...Mel. Phew, she's okay. She's coming here with something. A grocery bag? She kneels beside me putting a bandage around my wound.

"You okay there, (Y/N)?" She asks.

"I'm okay, but you need something to warm you up. I can't let you freeze."

"Neither can I, that's why I let you wear my coat. I couldn't let my big sis freeze out here."

I hate when she likes to get the last word, but she's my sis. What do you expect?
I look at the glowing snow and the thin trees, just looking around at my surroundings. Then I notice the bag Mel brought with her. We're in a forest, how is there a store.

I say, "Mel."

"Yeah?" She answers.

"That bag is from a store, right?"

She looks at me funny. "Yeeesss...?"

"So there's a town nearby."

"Uh yeah, just a few minutes from this direction." She points.

"Then let's go!" I motion.

"Now?"

"Now."

She shrugs taking my hand helping me up. Gosh that snow was cold....Well Captain Obvious strikes once, and may next......who knows. Anyways, we walk, or in my situation, limping through the way Mel leads me.
We stop at a road that leads it's way to the little town that just looks about ten minutes from here. We continue walking along the sidewalk towards the town. We stop at the front of a motel that's rests between Grillby's and a little thrift shop.

"You got cash, Mel?" I ask.

She answers, "Wait, hold on," she opens the front pocket on her suitcase and takes out the money counting it. "132 G."

I sigh," I guess we can see what it costs for us both."

She nods putting the money in her suitcase pocket and we enter.
There behind the counter stood a kinda chubby woman, human/ animal hybrid with antlers, hot pink braids resting on each shoulder, pointy ears, and brown eyes. She looked about like she was in her teens, yet adult like.

As we approach, she lightly smiles and asks in a shy voice," Um, hi. W-welcome to the uh, Sleeping Hunter Motel. H-how may I assist you girls?"

Mel says to her," Room for two, separate beds."

"O-of course." Answers the lady. She looks and types onto her computer there, then looks at us and says," Th-that'll be 60 G. 5 G per night."

Mel gives her the money and the lady gladly puts it into the register.

"You're very pretty." I say to the lady.

She looks at me and barely smiles. "I-I just threw something on..." She looks down.

I say," No really, you work that outfit girl."

She fully smiles and says," T-Thank you for y-your kind words."

"No problem." I take out my hand then she nervously shakes it.
"I'm (Y/N) (L/N)." I say.

"I-I'm Grace Vaanderhall." We let go. She says, "Nice meeting you, (Y/N)."

"To you as well, Grace."

I wave off and with that, Mel and I get into the elevator.

"Wait!" Yells Mel.

She hurries out of the elevator leaving me confused. Why does she want me to wait? Now she's coming back with a card.

"Almost forgot the key card." She giggles. I giggle with her as I push the 2nd floor button.

And yes I did include one of my OCs. I have 2 of them, Delphya Lynx (nickname Rachel cuz her name is complicated) and Grace Vaanderhall. Aren't I great with names? Next chapter will be coming soon, just be patient and it'll come shortly. PEACE OUT PEEPS!
