Ashton's POV
We quickly snuck Luke out of the house before his parents could catch.
I didn't want Luke to go back there ever again.
I wanted him to feel safe.
We quickly drove to my house, but the whole car ride I could hear Luke silently sobbing into his jacket sleeve.
I felt so bad for him.
Why would anyone ever do that?
"We're here." I quietly said and got out of the car and ran over to his side, opening the door and picking him up from his seat and carrying him in my arms like he was made of glass.
Once I opened the front door my mom rushed over and said,
"Where have you been?! I've been worried sick! I was so scarred you got hurt-
What is he doing here? He's disgusting. I told you to get him out of here. I bet he smokes pot or something. He smells like it. Ew. Get that thing out of my house."
She said pointing to Luke.
"Mom he's a human being too. He just needs to get washed up a bit. Can he please stay here for a while?" I asked hoping she would agree.
I can't let him go back there.
"Ash..." Luke mumbled into my chest. "'M tired."
"Okay. I'll get you to bed." I said quietly.
I took him upstairs and gently put him in bed and tucked him in.
I went back downstairs and my mom was furious.
"WHY WOULD YOU LET THAT THING INTO OUR HOUSE?! HE'S DISGUSTING! HE'S PROBABLY ONE OF THOSE FREAKS THAT STARVES THEMSELVES AND HURTS THEMSELVES FOR THE ATTENTION! HE'S DISGUSTING!"
"Mom please. He's been through a lot. I can't just leave him with his parents... please." I begged.
"One week." She said and stormed upstairs.
(A/n so remember how I said this one won't be shitty? Yeah I lied. It's really bad. I'm so sorry. I'm just trying to get to the good parts of the story. I'm so sorry. I'm really not proud of this book. I feel like it's really shitty. BUT, I'll keep updating so I can improve my writing and make my next book better.)
