Lilly's P.O.V
I've been at the hospital all night. I haven't had anything to eat and I couldn't sleep. I was just worried about my boys. Pony and Two-bit showed up to visit Johnny and Dally. We went to Johnny first and when I walked in and saw him I just wanted to bawl but you just don't do that infront of the guys or when your marked as a tough girl who can break anyone's knee caps and bust their face in. I pulled up a chair and took a seat right next to Johnny. "Hey Johnnycake." I said softly. "H-hey mama," he stuttered. "You got your name in the paper." Two-bit said showing Johnny the paper. He tried to grin, "Tough enough huh?" He said. The boys continued as I was in deep thought just hoping Johnny is gonna be ok. I wasn't really paying attention until Johnny passed out cold. I jumped out of my chair freaking out, "What happened?!? Is he ok?!?" I asked a bit scared. "He's alright." The nurse said. I then left the room and waited outside for the boy's. They came out and we started for the elevator and as we were heading there we saw Johnny's mom arguing with the nurse. "What do you mean he doesn't want to see us!! After all the trouble his father and I went through to raise him we should be able to see him! But he'd much rather see those no good hoodlums instead that always bum around!" She hissed as we walked by. Two-but and I stopped in our tracks and turned around. "For your information you did a piss poor job of raising him! You guys have neglected, ignored, and beaten him for years and your dare have the nerve to call us no good hoodlums!!" I screamed. I was so furious I could feel the anger crossing in my veins. "How dare you! You guys are nothing but bums and JD's that belong in prison to rot!" She yelled back. "This is why he hates your guts!" Two-bit and I both yelled at her but Pony pushed us along before anything else could happen. We got in the elevator and headed to Dally's room. When we got there a nurse stormed out looking mad, I could already tell Dally is his usual self. I walked in and Dally jumped out of bed hugging me tightly, "Thank god your ok! I thought I something happened to you!" He said. I hugged him back, "More like thank god your ok!" I then saw his arm, I grabbed a hold of it and examined it, "Don't worry doll, I'm alright." Dally chuckled, he then picked me up bridal style and laid me down in his hospital bed, he then laid down next to me and I snuggled up to him deciding to get some sleep before the rumble.

Ponyboy's P.O.V
It was 6:00, the rumble didn't start until 7:00, everyone was here except for Johnny and Dally, I sure do hope Johnny will be ok. Anyways as I was thinking about Johnny I then heard Steve whistle, "Your gonna distract everyone dressing like that missy." I turned to see Lilly scolding at Steve, she was wearing some light blue ripped up skinny jeans, a black crop top that shows off her skinny and toned stomach and a bit of cleavage, and her black tennis shoes. "And your gonna get a beating if you keep talking to me like that." Lilly said sassy like. I actually feel sorry for her because I know that if Johnny dies it's gonna emotionally destroy her more then the rest of us.

Lilly's P.O.V
I was sitting on the couch just hoping Johnny was gonna be ok, he's like a son to me, I can't lose him! As I was deep in thought I heard someone yell "LET'S GO!" And that was our cue, I jumped up and ran out the door jumping off the porch, doing a barrel role, and doing a back flip over the fence. We were all doing flips and tricks then we started walking down the street to the lot. Darry was giving Pony and Soda a lecture and Steve was hooting and hollering, I chuckled at them, I loved the gang. We finally arrived and Tim Shepherd came up to greet us. "Hey babydoll." He said giving me a hug, I hugged back and gave a little smile and went to go stand by a tree and wait for the Soc's to show. After about 10 mins they started driving up to the lot, we were all standing in a line as them poured out of the car coming up to us. It all went silent as we waited for someone to start it off, I then stepped forward and said "I will take on anyone." The Soc's started laughing thinking I was joking, "How about you step aside sweetheart before you get hurt." One said. I was about to rip him a new one until I heard someone yell "IT AIN'T A RUMBLE WITHOUT ME!" I then punched one Soc in the jaw and the rumble was on. I jumped on Soc's back clawing at his face. His friend wrapped his arm around my neck and had me in a choke hold, I then headed butted him hearing a cracking sound letting me know I broke his nose, Pony was having some trouble so I knocked out the Soc I was on and ran to go help him, I kneed the Soc in the face knocking him out cold, after a while I heard someone yell "WE WON!" And we all started cheering.

Time skip~
We were back at the house recovering from our injuries, well, Pony wasn't here, we didn't know where he went off to. I had a sprained ankle, busted knuckles, a bloody nose, and a few scratches, so all in all I was alright. We were all talking about how we stomped out the Soc's when Pony walked in looking a bit sick. "Where have you been?" Darry asked, "Pony what's wrong?" Darry asked concerned, "Johnny's dead." Pony said. Right then and there my whole entire world came crashing down, my whole world is now crumbled and destroyed. I was just lost when the phone rang, Darry answered. After a few minutes he hung up and came back over to us, "It was Dally, he needs our help. We need to meet him at the lot." And at that I jumped up and ran out the door running to the lot. The boys followed me yelling my name but I ignored them. When I got to the lot Dally was there and the cops were surrounding him, and then that's when I say it, Dally pulled a gun. I then ran to him and that's when I heard a gun shot. "Lilly? What are you doing here?!?" He yelled, I ignored him and grabbed his arm pulling him along with me. We ran 8 blocks. We finally found a place to hide from the cops and when they passed us by we ran back to the house and came in from the back. The gang was already there waiting for us. Are you ok?!?" I asked checking Dally for any bullet wounds. "ARE YOU INSANE!?!" He yelled, I looked at him puzzled. "LOOKED!" He yelled pointing at the stomach, I then looked down and saw a bullet wound in the right bottom corner of my stomach. I grabbed the first aid kit and took a seat on the couch. I dug the bullet out and disaffected the wound, I then stitch it up and wrapped it in bandages. "Are you gonna be ok?" Two-Bit asked, I smiled slightly and nodded.

Ponyboy's P.O.V
Two-Bit and Steve left and everyone else decided to go to bed. Dally decided to stay to help out Lilly. I was currently in my room trying to sleep until I heard crying. I went downstairs and saw Lilly sitting in the kitchen in nothing but her bra, panties, and a black and red flannel, her hair was a mess and she had a bottle of whiskey in one hand. I've never seen Lilly cry before. Not even when she got jumped and broke 7 ribs, she didn't shed not one tear. She put the guys that jumped her in a hospital for 8 months, one of them was in a coma. I felt horrible for Lilly. I knew why she was crying, she was crying over Johnny. I decided to sit by her and comfort her. As I was comforting her Dally, Soda, and Darry walked in and sat with us trying to comfort Lilly. This is it, this was her breaking point, she's emotionally destroyed and she needs us to fix her back up.
