Ponyboy's P.O.V
It has been 5 months since we met Lilly and she is sweet as candy but if you mess with us she can break your legs. We all loved having Lilly around. Even Steve loves having her around but the one person that really got attached to her was Johnny mostly because Lilly took care of him. When ever he came here with fresh bruises from his dad or was crying cause of his mom or if he was sick or anything like that Lilly would take care of him. Johnny even calls her mom because she's like the mom he's never had. She was gentle and caring towards him. I checked the clock and it was noon. Darry, Soda, and Steve where at work, Lilly and Johnny where cuddling, napping on the couch, and Two-Bit was watching Micky mouse. Dally was back in Jail again. Or so I thought. "Hey guys. Ya miss me?" I heard his voice. I walked in the living room and there he was. "I didn't know you were out of the cooler Dally." I said quietly trying not to wake Lilly and Johnny. "Good behavior. Got of early." "How's Sylvia?" Two-Bit asked, Dally just shrugged. "She two timed me while I was locked up. Besides I like someone else anyways." Dally said looking at Lilly. I knew he had a thing for her with all the flirting and teasing that goes on between those two for the past 5 months. But I'm not sure if she has the same feelings for him. "Give it time." I said. Dally knew what I was talk about.
Dally's P.O.V
I knew what Pony was talking about. I really did like Lilly. She's reckless, sweet, tough, and a criminal. Plus she treats us all well and fits in. I even heard Tim Shepherds gang talk about how they like Lilly from when we ran into them. Lilly was a likable person. I just simply nodded at Pony and took a look at Lilly and Johnny's sleeping figures. She was mighty caring towards Johnny. She's even confronted Johnny's dad and about put him in a hospital. Lilly would do anything for us and I liked that. But she was also wild and crazy. I might even start calling her chaos. But Pony is right. I just gotta give it some time. I'll tell her how I feel one of these day's.
