Kiss Of My Life

This chapter is dedicated to my best friend Chocolate because she kept pushing me to write more.

Chapter 3

“Adrian I need your help with something.” I pulled back as I said those words so I can look him in his eyes.

“And what might that be?”

“Revenge.” As those words left my mouth I swear I seen a fire spark in those green orbs he calls eyes.

“On?” he says with a mischievous smirk. Revenge is like his best friend, well after me of course.

“My father.” I return that same smirk and fiery eyes. The thought of getting revenge on the one I despise most mad me happy. I know I sound like a wicked girl but he deserves what he’s about to receive.

“My precious why do you want revenge on him?” well I have to tell him the story now.

After I explained everything that happened we sat there in silence for a while. I could tell he was thinking. I knew for a fact that he wasn’t going to back down from a challenge especially because of the fact that it changed my life forever.

“So that explains why you haven’t been smiling these past few weeks.”

“Pretty much.”

“Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” I knew that question was coming and I know I won’t be able to avoid it nor lie to him.

“Well one reason is because I was scared to tell you. I thought you might judge me and treat me like I’m the scum of the earth.”

“Hai’Dynn you of all people should know that I would never do that.” He was getting mad. ”Hai’Dynn why would I do that your my fucking best friend for God’s sake. Why would I turn my back on you now when you need me most? I’ve been there for you since day one and I plan on being here till the end. How could that thought ever run through your head?” anger was laced in every word that he said yet he didn’t yell at me. He looked disappointed in me for not trusting him. Honestly I don’t blame him.

“Adrian I really don’t know okay. I’m sorry I just didn’t know what to think nor what to do. I was just so scared. I felt as though you would judge me for allowing that to happen.”

“Hai’Dynn I know you couldn’t stop that man. I would never judge you on something that’s out of your control. Dating Blake now I do and always will judge you on that mistake but something as major as this I would and could never. Hai’Dynn I love you more than you would ever know.”

“Do you say that to all your skanks?” I asked trying to change the mood.

“Nahh only to the special ones.”

“Oh so I’m just one of your special skanks. That’s how you feel.”

“Now you know that’s not what I meant.” Then he pulled me closer and just held me. I felt myself start to drift off the sleep.

I and Blake were running in a field of yellow lilies. We were so happy running and laughing. Holding hands like we were the best couple in the world. Then she showed up. The same blonde bimbo I seen at the coffee shop. I stopped dead in my tracks but he didn’t. He let go of my hand and ran into her arms. I stood there dumbfounded. I can’t believe I let this happen. I should’ve listened to Adrian when he said Blake was no good.

I felt some arms wrap around me. When I turned around I came face to face with Adrian. “I told you I’ll always be her for you.” He said and kissed me ever so passionately. That kiss was heart melting and breath taking.

Then I woke up wishing it was real. The only real thing about that dream was Adrian’s arms being around me. I turned around so I can face him. His features looked so relaxed, I couldn’t help but smile and stare. His mouth was slightly opened and was letting out soft snores.

A smile crept on his face. “Enjoying the view.” I can’t believe I just got caught staring at him for the second time. I felt my whole face heat up. I was so embarrassed that I turned around I couldn’t face him now. “Don’t be so shy now Honey.” He said while flipping me over and laying on top of me.

“Oh you know I feel like I’m a rebound.”

“And why is that?” he asked with curiosity laced in every word he spoke,

“Well because Sarah was just here and you didn’t get what you wanted from her.” I stated.

“Oh but who said I want anything from you?” he asked with a very seductive voice. Then out of nowhere his lips slammed into mines catching me completely off guard. I didn’t know what to do for about 5 seconds. I caught on when I felt his teeth gently bite my bottom lip. At first I was hesitant but I finally gave into him and allowed him to deepen the kiss. The kiss was exactly how I dreamt it was just real this time.

He pulls back and looks me in the eyes. The look he’s giving me right now is a look I’ve never seen before. “Hai’Dynn I love you more than you would ever know.” Before I could respond his lips were on mines again. This kiss held more passion then the previous one. It was like he was trying to let me know how he feels about me through this kiss and I feel every emotion he was holding in.

When we pulled apart I couldn’t help but smile. I know with the other girls it’s just a fling but I can tell his feelings are real.

“Hai’Dynn.”

“Yes sir?”

“Be my girlfriend?” when those words came out of his mouth my heart began beating so fast. I had hella butterflies in my stomach. It felt as though I’ve been waiting my entire life to hear those words from him. With Blake I didn’t feel like this at all and I thought it was perfectly normal. “What do you say?” he asked bringing me out of my thoughts.

“Only if you be my boyfriend.” I replied.

“You’re so lame.” Before I could respond he door came flying open. Both of our head shot toward his door because it was too early for his parents to be home and his sister was out of state.

“I always knew you had a thing for her.”

without the help from my friend Daisha I don't think that Adrian and Hai'Dynn would be a couple. she kept telling me that they would be so cute together so I made them a couple.
