Chapter 5

“Where are you?” my father’s voice came through the phone making me freeze in my steps. I couldn’t believe he was calling me looking for me.

“You will never find me.” I spat coldly through the phone and hung up. I continued to run through the dark rainy night to the park. When I reached the park I seen a familiar red Toyota parked by the entrance to the park. I ran over to the car and got in.

“Hai’Dynn what the hell are you doing?”

“Blake please just let me stay here until my ride comes trust me I don’t want to be here anymore than you want me here.”

“Why were you even outside at this time of night running while it’s raining?” he asked with curiosity instead of worry laced in his word.

“I don’t want to talk about it.” My phone started to ring again and this time I was sure to look at to see who was calling me. “Hello?”

“Honey where are you?” my mom asked worried as always. “Your father called and told me that you ran away from him.”

“Mom I’m fine just keep that man away from me and no I don’t want to talk about it now.”

“Okay Honey but please just be safe.” This wasn’t the first time that I ran away from home. I usually run away to clear things. You know whenever there is too much stuff going on in my head or when I’m stressing over a lot. “Mind telling me what’s wrong?”

“Blake I really don’t want to talk about.” Once again my phone began ringing. “Hello?”

“I’m here where you are?”

“I’m in Blake’s car you know the red Toyota.”

“I’m right behind you now come on.” I hung up the phone not bothering to say anything else.

“Thank you so much Blake.” I said and slammed his car door shut. I ran straight to Adrian’s car and when I was about to get in I felt some arms wrap around me and snatch me away. I tried to scream but I couldn’t because something was over my mouth.

I woke up in a very unfamiliar place. I looked around to take in my surroundings. When I looked to my left I saw Blake sitting in a chair with his arms and legs tied up and a rag in his mouth. To my right was Adrian in the same position as Blake. I tried to scream but I couldn’t because of the rag in my mouth it just came out as muffled noises.

“Well. Well. Well. Look who finally joined us.” A very familiar female voice said. I couldn’t tell who it was due to the fact that she was wearing a ski mask.

“Oh Hai’Dynn in glad to see you’ve finally waken my dear.” Ughh I wish I knew who this was. These voices sounded so familiar as though they belong to someone of the past.

“Oh how rude of us I know you want to know who we are.” a third voice said.  Then they all took off their mask. When the mask were fully off I realized who the people were standing in front of me. My old friends Ryder, Rain, and Winter. They were my best friends until I found out they were just after my family’s money. My mom is a very well-known plastic surgeon. She actually ranked in the top five highly paid doctors.

“Hai’Dynn have you missed us?” Winter asked even though I knew the question was rhetorical I still shook my head no.

“Well why is that?” Ryder asked his voice was a little deeper then I remembered but he was still the same tall slinky jerk as before. Rain walked over to me and took the rag out of my mouth.
