"This weekend we are going out with Mrs.Malla and her family"mom announced.
Mom and Mrs.Malla our neighbour, are very close and they often do groceries together. This time they wanted to take family trip. Ugghh! I hate that because I have to act normal in these trips. While all I want is to laugh out loud, take wierd pictures, squeal after seeing cute guys on random street, that's the last thing my parents want me to do.
"Get into the car fast, we can't be late" dad said.
By the time we reached there, Malla family was already there waiting for us.
"Hey darling!" Mrs.Malla said with a big smile. Mom hugged her, I just smiled. Then came her husband who always calls me daughter.
"Sarthak come here" he said.
Sarthak who? Sarthak their son who is more busier than the USA's president. Last time I saw him was a year ago at Christmas which was just a glimpse.
"Namaste" he greeted eveyone of us. It took my every consciousness not to 'wow' my mouth.
"Sarthak is going to stay at home from this week. No more hostel till university" Mr.Malla said with his hand on his son's shoulder.
"Oh that's great, you two can be friends" mom said looking at me.
"He's my senior, we can't be friends" everyone laughed at my outburst.
He laughed too.
❤❤❤
"So we can't be friends, huh?" he asked when I was ordering chocolate shake to the waiter.
"That's not what I meant" his sudden offer bewildered me. "I'm going to senior high school after 8 months and you'll be going to university by then so you are my senior."
"That's much of research. Have you been stalking me?"he winked.
Omg! Did he just hit on me? Mom, aunt, where are you?
"Excuse me, why on earth will I stalk you? I have my boyfriend"which was partially true. Stalking part was true but boyfriend part was a complete lie.
"Really? I was busy studying and being a head boy in grade 10" he said with one of those judgemental tone.
What a jerk! A minute before he was trying to flirt, now he is acting sane.
"Make sure you don't complain about this to my parents, Mr.Head Boy" now I got scared.
"I can promise only if you do me a favour" he said with a smirk.
That's it.Boys always have some self motive to talk.
"I need to know the name of one of the girl of our neighborhood. She's so hot;I need to find her in instagram" he continued.
I laughed so hard that chocolate shake on my hand spilled on the table.
"That's so pathetic. You rarely move out of the house, lone wolf. But you need to follow hot girls" I said still laughing.
"Will you help or will you get in trouble?"
Suddenly I kept quiet. Was he serious about this talk? I invited a big trouble with one lie.
❤❤❤
All the way back to home, I kept wondering what if he spreads the rumour that I have a boyfriend. What if he asks me to show my boyfriend's picture? Now I can't tell the truth, my self-esteem won't allow. Oh god! Even with that look, how could I not be his friend and flirt normally? My hormones do not work at right time.As soon as I got home I laid my body on my bed. The day went fine. Dad taught me to play golf.
