"Finally you got crush on someone who isn't a celebrity" Tripti said, excitement clear on her face. I remember her saying that one of the best friend goals was to stalk a guy together which unfortunately hadn't been with us.
"No no. It's nothing but just a sudden attraction" I was trying my best to convince myself that look can be a deceiving factor.
"Just look at you, you are blushing."
"No way. My cheek is naturally red."
"You should look at your face when you talk about him. It shines with smile" Tripti wasn't ready to give up.
"Whatever" I tried to dismiss the topic. Since we were eating in the cafeteria, she let go of the topic. I knew she would bring it up later on.I wasn't planning to tell about Aayush to anyone, not even Tripti. But she went through my phone and found at least 15 photos of a new cute guy. Then she made me speak like a culprit confessing his crime.
Incase anyone is wondering why did I have photos of him with me, let me tell you that Aayush happened to be popular in his school and social media. With his number of followers, I hadn't expected him to follow me back but he did. For past 6 days, I had been talking to him everyday at the bus stop.
I got a new reason to be punctual and go to the bus stop on time."This Friday, can we go to the nearby park to ride bicycle?"he had asked.
"How well are you in it?"
"Well, I can make you come there every next Friday with an urge to win me" he said.
"I'd love to feel that urge" I said winking at him.
After the last bell I made my way to the bus remembering it was Friday that day.As soon as I reached home I took shower, filled my tummy with oats and finished my English assignment. The clock struck 17:00. I gave a fine touch to my hair with high pony tail, just lip gloss on lips and left for the park.
"I was very excited for Friday" I said as soon as I saw him.
He was there sitting on a bench, wearing white T-shirt and grey trousers, with perfectly messed hair.
"Why? What's so special about Friday?" he asked.
Cause I am here with you. Of course I didn't let let that slip out of my mouth.
"Because it's Saturday tomorrow. Holiday, yeah!" I said with both hands on air.
He laughed seeing my child-like act. Little did he know that he was giving rise to another teenage girl inside.
He was true to his confidence. He won the race which he himself had set up.
I sat on the ground, tired and feeling cool breeze on my sweaty face.
"Told you" saying this he sat next to me.
"Next Friday will be my luck" I said.
He smirked.
Could I tell him that every little thing he did attracted me?
"No just be quiet! " the dignity of girl spoke."What do you do except cycling?" he asked.
"I enjoy Physics. Newton is bae" I tried to make a joke. I really enjoyed Physics and Chemistry though I wasn't the most studios.
"Whoa pretty strange" he remarked.
I was suppose to ask him what were his interest but I already knew that he was a guitarist of school band, often played basketball though not in the team and he knew how to cook. I nearly collapsed on my bed when I saw his shirtless picture in the well furnished kitchen with a pan on his hand.
All thanks to app developers.
Not to seem rude I inquired his hobbies to hear the things that I already knew.
"But I am finding new interest recently" he added looking straight on my face.
"What's that?" I asked raising an eyebrow.
"I'll tell you next time. Let's go back for today"
"Fine" I replied.
"What did you tell your parents before coming here?" I asked.
"Nothing. I don't need parents' permission to move out of the house"
I didn't reply. Why was he so cryptic?<3 <3 <3
Dear journal,
I know I take you for granted and come to you only when I become emotionally unstable. Last time I came to you when One Direction went on a break. This time it's not because of British lads; it's because of a Nepalese boy.
You know how good I was at building walls for boys. But I'm loosing my restriction with this new guy. It's been just a week though. What do you think should I do? Should I go with the flow and enjoy our bonding? Should I be careful and not get close to him for they say,"Attachment is good only for emails."
Your selfish owner,
Aarya. Some of you were saying that chapter 3 was not shown on your device. I don't know what's causing that problem but it's really bad news for me. And sorry for the late update.
