A/N: Hey guys! This is the story's finale chapter! Thanks for reading this (horribly cringy) book but unfortunately it must come to an end ;-; Love you guys and don't stop loving Maximum Ride!

~6 months later~

Max's eyes shone. She sat there watching the sun set, admiring the beauty of it. Oh how many things have changed in the six months after she came back.

Eraser Max was gone. For good this time. Using the resources they had, they found a way to eradicate any remaining traces of Eraser Max.

Max was free now.

When Max and the flock stumbled back home, a sense of achievement and pride filled them all. They may have been tired and hungry, but they won the battle and got Max back. And that was all that mattered.

Max was their glue that stuck them together. Without Max, they were falling apart. Tensions had arosen, they fought and cried. But that was all in the past.

Now, as they looked back on those memories, they could smile because they knew how far they had come from that. They came out stronger.

Physically, emotionally, and as a family.

She smiled to herself.

Nudge had pursued her dreams of being a fashion designer and now was interning at a well known company, although they were a bit concerned on how employing one of the "founders" of their community would work out. They finally did a cure for Iggy, he went for the surgery, after weeks of persuading, and he wasn't blind anymore. Gazzy and Iggy began on working a project with the scientists, involving explosions of course. Phoenix started attending school and made quite a lot of friends, including a boy that Fang was watching closely. Very closely. Max and Fang took this time to catch up on the bonding that they missed for the last few months. And Angel? She continued working on setting a system for the community, and checked that everything ran smoothly. She really grew up a lot from that little 6 year old that wanted to pick strawberries.

Everything was wonderful now.

"Max!"

Max turned around. Fang was motioning for her to come back in, the rest of the flock waiting expectantly behind, welcoming warm smiles spread across all their faces.

She grinned, that wonderful smile that Fang loved and adored, stood up and began walking home. To her family.

A rainbow appeared in the sky.

A sign of a new beginning.

A/N: THE END. FINALLY. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR READING THIS. LOVE YALL! ^-^ Farewell, my sweet dear readers, farewell!

Big chocolately hugs for the last time,

~Megan ♡
