I was awoken the next morning by the door to my room creaking open.

“Morning honey, I’m now off to work, breakfasts on the table just help yourself to anything” Sally said quietly.

“Thanks” I mumbled smiling at her sleepily.

When the door closed again i rolled over onto my back, even though I’d slept well I still felt unrefreshed and groggy.  I was used to this feeling, I spent most of my days feeling jet-lagged or sleep deprived it was one of the downsides to my ‘job’.  In fact I can’t remember the last time I didn’t feel this way.  I rolled out of bed and padded across the room, I was mid-yawn when I reached the bottom of the stairs and entered the kitchen.

My eyes immediately landed on Ashton happily tucking into his cereal, his strong square jaw tensing with every chew, holy shit how does he make eating breakfast look sexy?

“H-hey Kimberly, looking good” Ben stuttered appreciatively from another seat at the table, huh, I didn’t even notice he was there.

Ashton’s eyes flickered up briefly before he did a double take, freezing with his spoon half way to his mouth as his eyes trailed down my bare legs.

“Morning Ben, thanks, morning Ashton, you guys can call me Kim by the way” I chirped smugly as I sat down at the table helping myself to a bowl.

“Morning” He grumbled scowling down into his food.

“What are we doing today?” I asked him genuinely eager to explore this new lifestyle.

“WE aren’t doing anything, I have work” he spat out, his spoon clattered down into his bowl.

“But-” Ben cut in looking confused.

“What?” Ashton said glaring at him as if daring him to oppose this notion.

Ben shrugged it off, suddenly very interested in his own bowl as Ashton stormed out of the room.  What the hell?  I knew he didn’t have work, Ben was covering him while I was here, maybe that blonde slut was waiting for him in his bed?  I frowned pushing away my bowl as the thought robbed me of my appetite.

“No offence, but your brother can be a real dick” I sighed.

“Yeah I know” Ben chuckled nervously “Right I’ve gotta shoot but I hope you have a good day, why don’t you go and explore?” he suggested.

“Do you know I think I might just do exactly that” I grinned.

He grinned back at me seeming pleased with himself.

“Just don’t go too far, you can easily get lost out here” He warned before following his brothers footsteps out of the house.

I liked really liked Ben, he seemed like a good kid, hopefully he’ll get over his awkward little crush when he realises I’m just a normal person.
