Chapter Ten

Stiles looks up at the board, reading off the town names.

I let out a sigh, sat up against the wall with my arms on my knees as an old train ticket blows past my feet. My eyebrows furrow as I go to grab it, crawling after it until it reaches Stiles' feet. He looks down at me with narrowed eyes before the two of us immediately turn to the side.

"Elizabeth.." Aunt Carol echoed, gaining my attention. "Elizabeth."

"Aunt Carol?" I questioned, standing upright at the same time that Stiles called out for Lydia.

The two of us shared a look, taking off towards the waiting benches until a familiar voice erupted from the overhead speakers.

"Attention all passengers. The train will be arriving in 25 minutes." Corey informed with a distorted tone, causing my face to contort in confusion.

"That sounded like-" I started, as crowds of people waiting for their train shuffled past Stiles' and I, pushing us back.

We fought our way through the crowd, distractingly shouting after Aunt Carol and Lydia.

"Aunt Carol!" I yelled, one last time before a gunshot sounded.

Stiles and I froze in our spots, turning around as the people quickly cleared a path.

"Give the kids some room." Sheriff Stilinski avowed, causing me to let out a laugh in disbelief.

"Dad?" Stiles breathed, rushing over to his father. "Dad."

Sheriff Stilinski held the same wide-smile as myself, enveloping his son in a tight hug.

"Oh, god. Oh, I found you.." he mumbled, pulling apart from the hug, leaving his hand on Stiles' shoulder. "I can't believe I found you."

The duo chuckled before the Sheriff's eyes landed on me.

"Come here, Liz." he smiled, opening his arms, allowing me to run over to him.

I chuckled, wiping away the potential tears in my eyes as he places me back to my feet.

"Dad, we could hear them. We heard Liz's Aunt, and Lydia...we might be able to reach them." Stiles piped up, just as the infamous sound of horses neighing in the distance filled our ears, traveling through the station.

"You two need to get out of here. Don't worry about me." Sheriff Stilinski placed a hand on Stiles' shoulder, before he began making his way towards the radio-room.

"Wh- you're kidding, right?" Stiles retorted,

"Go. Get help. Find your friends." Sheriff Stilinski demanded, pointing between Stiles and I.

"Yeah, and what about you?" I chimed in, furrowing my eyebrows.

A smile spread across his face once more. "We'll find each other again. We all will." he assured, as the horses grew closer.

"Dad-" Stiles tried, taking a step forward.

"Stiles. I'll hold them back." Sheriff Stilinski extended his arm. "Now get the hell out of here. Go. Go!"

Stiles looked down at me, and the two of us raced into the tunnel.

We ran across the train-tracks until a bright light blocked our vision, causing our hands to shield our eyes.

Stiles and I shared a look before slapping our hands together, interlocking our fingers. We then began forcing ourselves towards the bright light, where both Lydia and my Aunt Carol were calling out for us.
