Chapter Ten

Raven's Pov: The Wedding!

We pull up to the stone circles chairs lined up facing the circle where an archway stood!

We got out! I take my father's arm!

"This is hard on me!"my father said as we started walking ever so slowly

"I do not understand father!"I said

"Your my only child you will soon be Queen and your husband King! And I have to release you to another!"he said

"Father your not losing me I will always need you!"I said

"Your tone carries uncertainty!"he said

"I worry about you sometimes!"I said

"Well here we are my little girl becoming a woman!"he said

We both smile and I take Drakes hands!

The wedding went fine then after that we all celebrated with lavish food that was nearby! Fireworks were set off as it got darker!

But before anyone could start drinking and partying a war horn went off! And a messenger came riding up and rather in a hurry bowing before us!

"What is going on Father what was it we just heard?"I asked

"Your Grace your Lordship! My King I must inform you we got this and we are urged to ready for battle which starts at Dawn first light!"he said his blue eyes frightened but his body straight and still!

"Very well My child you must depart and go into the nearest village available and to the best castle around! That's about twenty miles west!"my father said

I look for Drake but he's nowhere to be seen!

"Where's my husband?"I asked looking around

"Come my wife your coach awaiting!"Drake said coming up!

I go with him to my carriage and a lady appeared and got in then Joan!

We hug briefly and I get in looking at him through the window!

"Don't worry I will come back soon I promise! And this is what I live for to serve and protect!"he said

"Just you be careful!"I said before we pulled away

It took two days to arrive!

Drake's pov: Two hours earlier: The Battle for Camelot begins!

It broke my heart to let her go but I steadied my mind focusing on just one thing! The Battle!

I get on my horse as the stableman came riding up with all the horses including the King's horse and the new guy Ares came riding up with horses too!

King Arthur Pov: All men available!

I mounted my horse as the other men mounted their horses the stableman starting riding back when I said All men needed including the new guy who showed up!

Ares Pov: getting pulled into battle

"But sir I known nothing of war! And what of my wife?"I said as we all who are not in armor rode back into the castle

"This is a battle and numbers on both sides are greatly matched we're adding some for just in case!"The king said

I look behind me and their are twenty more men following me!

We all reached the castle and dismounted!

Everyone ran towards the barracks and came running out with armor!

They dressed the king and me while others were armored and readying their horses!

Somebody dressed the kings horse and mine in black battle armor!

"Let's Ride!!!" The king shouts and mounts his horse!

Somebody brings him his banner and he takes it!

I mount and look at him! "My Lordship?"I asked

"Yes sire?"he said back

"May I say something I always wanted to say?"I asked

"Be all means say what you wish we could all use a little spirit! Seeing as the men are all brave but frightened!"the king said

I look serious then unsheathed my sword!

I raised my sword and gave a shout! "FOR CAMELOT!!!!"

"FOR CAMELOT!!!"everyone else shouted and cheered!

"Haha For Camelot indeed! Good one sire!"he said nodding to me

"MY KING THEY ARE HERE THEY COMING STRAIGHT AT US!"some archer said

"CHARGE!!!!!!!!!!"the king shouted

We all gave a battle cry and before I knew it I was charging straight into the battle not a clue what I was doing!

Drake's Pov:

We all rush in I stuck close flank to king Arthur! I jumped off my horse and started slashing away dozens of men falling around me suddenly I'm knocked out from behind! I see Arthur in the middle before I passed out he is killing lots of men! The new guy is being taken away!

Something hot suddenly stings me and I wake up to feel another pain go through me!

Five hours later!

I am dropped on the floor I wake up!

"You knight you have to get up come on we got to go before the others realize I killed the guards!"somebody said yanking me up!

I get up but groan!

"Hush and a few ribs are broken you will get help in Camelot but that's about ten miles from here I counted as we was dragged away they whipped you and broke your ribs because you wouldn't tell them anything but how could you? you; was so disoriented!"this guy said dragging me outside and onto a horse which he also got on and we tromped into the woods before galloping at full speed to the castle!

King Arthur Pov: Five hours before!

I snuck out of the castle by way of my room and a came out from a tunnel nobody knew about I swiftly ran to the back stables and mounted a horse and went into the woods!

I met with Mordred halfway into the woods!

"Ah son Mordred have you gotten anything from Drake or the fellow who showed up?"I asked

"No Drake was hit too hard in the head!"he won't stay conscious!

"And the guy story is he came through a portal from Egypt! He says he's an Egyptian astrological person or something another!"

"Ok we'll have to kill them both!"I said

"Aye Sir!" Mordred said

Drake's pov: present time an hour later!

The king comes running out of the castle!

"Drake you are safe a bit beat up but you look nice!"king Arthur said

"Thank you sir now I will take my leave and go get a soft hay pile to sleep in!" I said

"Nonsense you will take my daughters bed!"the king said having me escorted inside
