Becoming a regalia

Mekune's p.o.v
All I see is darkness i want to see light I'm scared of the dark I want someone to take me out of the darkness. Suddenly there it was the light I've been wanting to see for so long. A voice was saying some words then I was in a white room with glass shards floating. I look to my left and saw a young boy probably about 14. A name was called and now im standing in a white robe. I looked around curious then someone said a name I looked at who said that and it was a young man and next to him was the boy i saw in that white room. "I am the god Yato and this is Yukine my regalia and now so are you, your name is Mekune" said Yato. "Here take my jacket your probably freezing" I looked at the jacket and shook my head no really fast. Why would I want to wear a stinky jacket it was already bad enough to be in his sweaty hands. Right after you thought that Yato yelled at you saying I should show him more respect. After that we went to this girl Koufku's house and when we got there Yato was tackeled by a girl with curley pink hair and after she ran out came a girl with long brown hair and a tall scary man. After Yato was done being smothered in hugs by the girl she noticed me and attacked me with a big hug and I freaked out a little and I guess everyone could tell because the tall man pried her off of me as I tried to regain my breathe. "Excuse my lady Koufku she gets excited when it comes to meeting new people" said the tall scary man. "So Yato would you like to introduce her to us" said the girl with the long brown hair. "Guys this is Mekune she's my new regalia I saw her while me and Yukine were fighting an unusually tough phantom. Shes a katana just like Yuki" Yato said as he put his arm around my shoulder. I tensed up a little I'm not used to all of this attention and people starring at me. "Well I'm Hiyori thats Koufku and the tall man behind her is her regalia Daikoku" Said the girl with the long brown hair who I now know as Hiyori. We all went inside and they taught me everything I need to know about being a regalia like how gods and regalia's share the same mind so I can't think of bad things or that will hurt Yato. It turns out Yukine and I are the same age so that's cool. After getting to know each other I asked Koufku if I could borrow some pajamas. She took me up to her room and picked out a nice pair of pajamas and then she showed me where I would be sleeping. After that we went back downstairs and chatted some more until Hiyori had to leave and Yato wanted to escort her home and Yukine and I went up to our room and layed down and thought about how great today was. As I was thinking my mind slowly drifted off and I was out like a light.

Well how did you guys like the first chapter I hope who ever reads this story likes it. If there's any advice someone can give me on better ways to improve my story I'm all ears. Well I'll probably update tomorrow or something so good night everyone don't let the phantoms bite.
