Chapter 9.

Finn's P.O.V

I came home with some OJ. I slowly opened the door seeing Millie slightly crying, it was obvious that she didn't want anyone to see her crying. "What's wrong?", I said running to her dropping the orange juice on the floor. Nick ran downstairs looking at me then at Millie. "What happened? Finn was this you?!" Nick said walking up to me and Millie. "No it wasn't me, I opened the door and she was crying"We tried to comfort her. "Sorry...it's just my mom......she..she doesn't..care about me!"she said in between sobs. "Aww Millie....", I said pulling Millie into a hug. Nick was just sitting there looking at me while I was hugging her. I wanted to ask her more about it, but that's probably a bad idea.

Millie's P.O.V

Finn and Nick comforted me and I felt better after that. Once I stopped crying, we decided to start eating breakfast. It was only 9:45 but we were starving! The boys ate eggs an Nick made me pancakes, since I don't like eggs. We also drank orange juice, mostly because of Finn. Once we were all done eating breakfast, Finn thought he should show me around the area.

~At The Park~

Me and Finn walked up to their naborhood park. It's was a big place to just hangout and have fun. It had a few benches and in the middle of the park, there was a big playground for the kids. It was beautiful. It looked very similar to the park back in England, but there wasn't a playground. "Hey, do you wanna go to the café for lunch, it's super close from here", Finn said looking at the kids on the playground, and back to me with a slight smile. I nodded and smiled back. For some weird reason, I wanted to hold his hand....NO WE JUST MET YESTERDAY, I can't be falling for this  guy. I mean he is super nice and very cute, but we just met and he's my first friend so as much as I want to I can't.
We were almost there when I recognized someone. She had a blue sweater and some ripped jeans. Then I realized it was the mean old lady that kicked Finn out of the shop. I mean she looks young but she's very rude. "Well well well, look who came running back for their job", "I'm not here for my stupid job, I'm going to the café with my....my friend", Finn said, he took my hand and we started heading to the Cafe. "Oh...sorry...I don't know why I- I cut him off, "It's fine...I kinda like it..I mean if you like-Finn cut me off by holding my hand and smiling. I smiled back.
