Chapter 4.

Finn's P.O.V

This girl came up to me. She looks new around here. "Hi, my name is Millie..um I'm new here", she said to me while sitting down next to me. She put her hand out to shake my hand. "Hi, I'm Finn, Finn Wolfhard." I said shaking her hand. I was kinda surprised that she had a British accent, but it was cute. "I see you got fired from your job", she smirked at me which made me laugh. "Yeah, that job sucked anyways" She smiled at me. I think we will be good friends.

Millie's P.O.V

Me and Finn kept talking about the most randomness things ever. First we talked about how he got fired from his job, then we talked if Mike Wisowski blinks or winks, after that we just make very dumb puns that made us laugh like crazy. I have a feeling that we are gonna be super good friends.

Finn's P.O.V

It started getting dark, it was about 6:30. "Hey, it's getting dark you wanna go to my house, I live alone so it's fine." I told Millie, I know I just met this girl but she's the funniest person I have ever met which is saying a lot since one of my friends, Gaten, makes me laugh almost all the time. She also very sweet, and brave. "Yeah sure, I moved here by myself to do I don't have to tell my parents for permission", Millie answered, I was glad she could, because I kinda wanna get to know her a little more.

-10 minutes later-

We walked up to my house in 5 minutes, my house isn't that far from where we were. We finally got there and I opened the door when my dog Cookie (I know right) attacked me making me fall down. "Hey there little dog!" Millie said petting Cookie. Cookie has been with me since I was 6 years old. She was just a little pup when we got her. She's the coolest dog you could ever have. She doesn't bite, she can do tricks, and will never leave your side. "Her name is Cookie, she's a Shih Tzu." I said to her, at this point we are both on the floor talking and petting her.

-20 minutes later-

We are still on the floor, when I decided to tell her if she wanted to head to my room. "Yeah of course", she said while heading upstairs. We got to my room, and I was glad yesterday I cleaned my room. "So...", she said, it got really awkward. "Um...so tell me,why did you want to move here by yourself?" I asked, I hope that she felt comfortable answering the question. There was a long silence until she finally answered.

"It's been my childhood dream moving here. My parents weren't always....caring and nice to me. They never really payed attention to me. They didn't like it when I would audition for plays or anything to do with acting. They didn't bother to ask me how my day was or...just be good parents. It's been like that my whole life. So me and my family made a deal that once I turn 16 I would move here by myself, and that's basically what happened." She looked like she was about to start bawling. I gave her a really awkward hug. She smiled and hugged me again. "Sorry, I didn't know", I said to her giving her a third hug. Why am I so awkward? "Well duh you didn't know, I just met you today!", she said trying to lighten up the mood, which made me laugh.
