The Love of a Dwarf

chapter two

Emily awoke the next morning. That was the best night she ever had. She saw a nice dress on the end of the bed. It was light green and had gold embroidery down the side. She pulled off her old clothes and put the dress on. It fitted her well. There was knock on the door.

"Who is it?"

"My name is Tauriel."

"Come in."

She came in and Emily thought she was very pretty.

"I'm glad you are awake. How are you feeling?"

"Better."

"Are you hungry?"

"Yes."

"Come on."

Emily followed her to the dinning room. There where two handsome elves. One had a crown around his head. He came over to Emily.

"Greetings Emily of Lake my name is King Thranduil and this is my son Legolas." Emily bowed. "Come you must be hungry."

As she ate  Emily looked for Kili.

"Looking for someone my lady?" Thranduil asked.

"Yes the dwarf Kili."

"He will be back he is just taking a walk."

"May i ask where am i?"

"You are in Mirkwood."

She was still close to him.

"Don't worry Emily you are safe." Legolas said.

"And you are welcome to stay here as long as you want." Thranduil said.

"Thank you your highness."

After eating  Emily went to take a look around. It was pretty the castle seemed to built in a tree.

"Glad to see you are up."

Katie turned to see Kili.

"Hi." She said with a smile.

"How are you doing?"

"Better."

"Come on i wanna show you something." Kili said and led Emilyto a part of the castle that had hole with water in them. The air had the sent of lavender and mint.

"Wow what is this place?"

"The baths. I talked to Thranduil and he said you can use them when ever you want."

A thought then came to her. She sat down.

"What's wrong?"

"Is everyone just being nice to me because of what happen?"

Kili sat down by her. "What you are going threw no one should have to deal with. We just want you to feel better and that you are well protected."

"Thank you."
