The one I Almost let Slip Away

Chapter 2

                                                        *******Wyatt's P.O.V*******

When I was staring at Aaron I noticed that on her left arm she had scars what looks like from a blade from her elbow down to her wrist. The girls also just decided to stay here and swim, but before Aaron was able to go outside I grabbed her by the arm and asked her to talk to her. "Why do you do that?" I asked. She looked confused so I said that I saw the scars on her her arm. She told me how her father was abusive and bullies at school and what not so she started cutting to drown out all the sorrow and pain. It made my eyes start to tear a little. I ignored it and let her go outside and soon followed after her. "What's taking you so long, Wyatt, hurry up," Mady yelled at me as she was about to jump into the water. I took my shirt off and jumped in after her.

                                                                         ****Aaron's P.O.V****

Wow, now I felt embarrassed, like really.  He noticed my scars, he probably thinks I'm a total looser now. I take off my shirt and pants and put them by Mady's stuff. I then get in the water which is rather soothing to feel upon my feet.  That's exactly when Mady grabbed my foot and pulled me all the way in the water, and I screamed and started my smiling my real smile this time. It's been awhile since I had smiled like that.  We same for about 3 hours before I got out to watch them. I sat on the hammock in his backyard and apparently fell asleep because when I woke up I was in my tank top on in room lying on a bed. I became worried I had gotten drunk or something. I saw my shorts on the end of the bed so I put them on over my bathing suit and snuck out of the house. Or at least attempted too. "Morning," a familiar voice said. Damn, it was Wyatt. "Hi, did we?" I regretted it as soon as I said it I didn't want to know honestly.

"If you mean as we as sex, no we didn't. You fell asleep so I carried you upstairs and laid you in the guest bedroom. Your sister was going to wait till you woke up to leave, but it was 11 so we just decided you would stay here and sleep." I nodded my head and told him I was going to leave and go home, so after that, I walked home and went quietly to my room. I got into the shower and freshened up. I wore a pink lace tank with a black polka dot skirt and my black ballet flats. I put my hair up into a messy bun with some eyeliner and a light lip gloss and mascara. 

I walk downstairs to find Mady and some black hair boy on the couch, sitting super close so I sit down on the first landing and watch and see what they do. 

They boy leaned over and kissed her, he kissed my sister, na ah he's not kissing my sister until I know who he is. I acted like I was clearing my throat and then my sister finally looked at me and I looked back at her in disbelief. "Ah, Aaron, please come hear," my sister says a little too weird. "Aaron, this is Brandon, my boyfriend for about 3 months now." I was shocked so I just shook my head and shook Brandon's hand and walked outside. I texted Mady I was going over to Wyatt's house. It took about 10 minutes to get to his house, but I did kind of take my time to think about it and also probably change my mind.  I knocked on his door at last and he opened it. "Well, hello, Aaron, odd seeing you here. What you up too?"

"Escaping the life of my sister and boyfriend. Is it ok if we hang for a while?" 

"Sure, what do you want to do. Watch Netflix, or go on a walk?" He suggested. Netflix sounded pretty legit so we decided on Netflix we sat in his living room and watched a tv show called  Arrow. Half way through the 3rd episode he grabbed my hand. I was so shocked but it felt so nice to have his hand in mine.

                                                                  ****Wyatt's P.O.V****

What is wrong with me she probably feels so awkward right now. I am just so in love with her. She is so beautiful. I don't know what it is about her, but it's like I can never take my eyes off of her. After a while, she entangled her fingers in mine. Next thing I know I wake up an hour later cuddled up to her. I try to get up without waking her up, but so much for that. "Hi," she said with a bright beautiful smile. "Hi," I said sarcastically. She rolled off the couch and went to the kitchen for some reason. I was kind of sad she got up, later I had gotten up as well and went into the kitchen to see what she was doing. I believe she was trying to find a cup so I mentioned:"Top left corner above the counter." She then opened the cupboard and grabbed a glass. "Do you want some water?" I shook my head no and leaned aginst the island in my kitchen."Thank you for such a wonderful time today, but I really should get home."

"Ok, well see you later." She walked out f the house and back to hers.

                                                        ****Aaron's P.O.V****

I did I leave, I was happy cuddled up to him. He made me feel safe. And usually, my anxiety kicks in when I'm around new people. I just decided to walk home after I got Starbucks. Once I was at home I saw Brandon had left, but I was just tired so I decided to just go to bed. 

                                                                **Dream**

" No, you can't stop it. Please don't kill him, Dad!" I was terrified I was chained to a wall and about to watch a person I love, get shot right in front of me by my own father, that's the worst feeling ever imaginable. "Give me one good reason, why I shouldn't?" No matter what reason I give him it's not going to be good enough so I just said the truth. "Because I-I-I am in love with him!" My cruel father smiled a smirk and shook his head no and looked my love right in the eyes and shot him. "NOOOOOOOO!" He killed him.

                                                                ****Aaron's P.O.V****

I woke up to myself screaming, there were tears falling --down my face one after the other. My --sister came running in my room scared out of her mind to see me like this right now. he just sat  on my bed and gave me a huge hug. It helped a little not much, though. I felt as if I wanted to die, but worse. I slipped from her grip and walked into the bathroom and locked the draw. I went through my drawer and grab my pocket knife. After about 3 minutes I lost count of how many I had done.

6 for my father.

7 for every wanting to fall in love.

3 for living on Earth.

                                                             ****Mady's P.O.V****

"Sis," oh no I came to one realization. I walk over to the bathroom to try and open the door and it's locked. SHIT! I dig around in her nightstand in a hurry to find the key to unlocking the door. It's not there so I look in her stand below the tv and ah ha there it is the key. I run over to the bathroom door and unlock the door. The sight I saw made tears fill my eyes. I picked up my phone and dialed Wyatt.

M-Sorry I know it like 3 in the morning but can you call 9-1-1 and come over please.

He almost responded instantly.

W- Yeah, what's going on!!??

M- It's Aaron.

W- Ok I'm on my way. 

Wyatt showed up in less than 5 minutes and came running upstairs and said he called 9-1-1 and they were on their way. When Wyatt saw who was laying on the ground and the state she was in his eyes started to swell.

Hey guys, I hope you enjoyed chapter two. BTW I had to leave a cliffhanger I just had too. I am really liking this story myself and so are some others so I really hope you like it.
