"Stop it!" Eva heard Losi giggling as she patted Zayn's chest. The flirting was apparent. Very apparent. Sad thing is that Losi had a husband. 'Straight to hell you go.' Eva couldn't help but think with a shake of her head. She pitied cheating fools.
"Uh.. Eva..em..." Losi smiled, looking Zayn up and down with a lustful smirk that internally made Eva gag as Zayn just went along, "Malik and I've been going over the questionnaire you came up with, and uh...he's got some questions to ask you.." she spoke, pursing her lips as her gaze continuously traveled to Zayn. Eva began to slump slightly. "You will be putting in extra hours to help him, You don't mind do you, mons' sherrie?" she asked, her dramatic french accent, and language uttered and Eva shook her head. Of course she didn't mind.
"Alright." Eva simply said, nodding.
"I will be in my office, darling." Losi announced solely to Zayn, smirking up at him and he reciprocated the action, smiling curtly at her as well. Losi nudged his shoulder with chuckles, "okay." he said in a warning kind of way, playful of course. Only they knew what it meant. Eva couldn't care less though.
"So you have some questions?" Eva pressed through the silence before anything else could be said, trying to somehow forget their behavior as she continued to scroll aimlessly through her laptop. "Yes. Yes." Zayn answered as he took a seat in front of her desk.
"Now this?" he started, referring to the questionnaire, "is really good. um..I need to formulate a program that'll tell what kind of person we're dealing with, just based on these questions." he explained.
"That's a program I'd like to see.." Eva added, her face looking kind, but not exactly breaking into a smile. "Good 'cause I need you to help me build it." Zayn countered seriously. Zayn never quite played about his business. Yeah, he was full of riffraff, and foolishness, but when it came down to business, there was no jokes.
Eva laughed. "I'm not a programmer." she simply retorted. Zayn shook his head. "That's fine. I just need your expertise on..humans. All of these questions..now they tell you about the prospective client, right?"
Eva nodded. "Yes. As well as the people they will attract." she remarked professionally, but hasn't that always been her approach?
"Okay, uh great. What I don't understand, is why there are so many questions here about uh, past relationships.." he informed.
Eva narrowed her eyes in challenge. "Because you learn a lot about someone from their prior relationships. You learn patterns, you learn behaviors, you learn if whether or not they like to take the victim role, or do they take full responsibility for their role in the break-up." she explained. She doesn't have her master's degree for nothing.
"All of that from..one lil' sheet of paper?" he asked in doubt, his eyes narrowing and straightening back again. Eva clenched her jaw. "Yes." she said confidently.
"Huh." Zayn hummed. "Huh, what?" she repeated, tilting her head.
"I never wanted to know the past of..any woman I was ever dating.." Zayn said. Eva played with a pen between her fingers. "Maybe that's why you're single." she retorted, and for once around this man, she felt like she had the upper hand. Stuff like this were things she was good at. No body could battle her against the art of people. She would always win. It was her passion.
"Okay.." Zayn smirked slightly. He could tell she was challenging him. The vicious glares she kept daring to take. Was he a threat to her?
"Last night, I went ahead and filled out one of these," Zayn rose to place the answered questionnaire infront of her, and then sat back in his seat, "maybe you can tell me a little something about myself." Eva narrowed her eyes again, and chortled.
