"Alright gals, let's make some d'reams 'appen." Losi chanted, her french accent weighing heavy on her tongue with the click of at least a dozen heels hitting the hardwood floor repeated as they filed out into the office for another morning's work. Eva in the very back, but in front of where Losi walked, but Losi had tapped her arm, calling her name lightly, "Eva?"
Eva turned and looked at her, awaiting her reasoning for stopped her.
"You have been requested to accompany Malik in New Orleans for a meeting." She informed fondly, a toot in her voice, showing she was just as surprised as Eva had been just now. Considering she'd basically just shot Zayn and all his intentions down, an invitation from him was the last thing she expected to get. "Oh?..really?"
"Yes. He's presenting to shareholders and he wants you there." Losi explained, her hands making gestures that didn't quite go with her words as they walked toward the offices, Eva staring at the side of the woman's face.
"Okay, well. When do we leave?" Eva asked, pushing some hair back from her sleep deprived face, referring to her and Losi.
Losi chortled and shook her head, "Oh no, darling. Just you. I think he likes you." Losi smiled giddily like a gossiping school girl, but then quickly sucked it in and held her composure in defense before Eva spoke, "Now I know you're married, but just elm..flirt a little. Get de' deal closed. Don't compromise yourself, but just uh.." Losi smirked deviously as she parted ways with Eva, heading to her office, "flirt." she finished. Eva looked dumbfounded, and confused. How could someone ask of something like this.
"Now I know I don' know you very well. But I do want you to know exactly what you're getting yourself into. This is a big deal for me and this place and I want it in the worse way," Losi said, her eyes changing to that of a less innocently harmless to something more serious. Something more desperate as she spoke of the company and it's rise if the deal goes well.
"With that being said, I will tell you what I tell all my girls that are going out with my guys. Be nice. Be aware.. and fun. But most of all be careful." Losi finished, and Eva hadn't even uttered a word as she listened, only took a big intake of breath. It was a lot to take in, especially considering it was Zayn. A man that openly came onto her, even while he knew she was very married. She just felt the uncomfortable air surrounding her and they weren't even on the trip yet. For heaven's sake.
"I know you're a smart girl, but this is a different league you are in. Trust me." Losi finally finished for the last time before pivoting on her heel and into her office, leaving Eva feeling cold and a bit apprehensive about what's to come. Let alone the mood she'd been put in even prior to arriving at work. God how does she always get herself in these ruts?

But then.. a sound..a voice knocked at her eardrums, slightly muffled from the glass that surrounding her but.. she could hear this voice loud and clear. She knows the voice like the back of her hand, and she couldn't be mistaken in a million years. That same voice that put her through hell on Earth would never be forgotten.
And when she looked up, it was no surprise that the identity of the person was who she knew it was to be..her ex. His cocky, echoing voice fanning out all throughout the store, and banging against her ears, and she almost pushed her hands over them. Even the sound of his voice brought her to another place. She could even feel the power of his fist plunge into her jaw, his voice spitting out words that you wouldn't be caught ever saying to someone you were supposed to love all in just his casual voice as he spoke to Mrs.Chapman.
