What is a shadow to you?
A shadow to me?
To you it isn't there.
To me it's everywhere.
You don't pay attention.
I do.
Its always going to be there.
Your life your always going to share.
A shadow is a dark siloete,
From head toe,
Arms and legs.
It is your person,
On the wall,
On the floor and door.
It follows you.
You follow it.
It is a friend until the end.
It disappears in the dark.
It shows then again I day light.
Why?
Sometimes friends need a break,
And being with one all day will
Cause that break.
Its sad sometimes to think
That just a shadow can keep
You company.
A shadow is there to show
That your still here.
There are many reasons to
like a shadow, but why must
You ask why we like it.
Its a friend for a life time
And a life time friend will
Be with you till the end
And when that end is near
You will always hear
That small voice.
Its your shadow saying its
Last good bye.
