The Arena

As days went past and it was the night that I work but Cara didn't appreciate that the teacher paired me and Jake up as partners including this is getting out of hand because it has been three days since it happened, I even explained to the teacher that Cara is my bully/pretend friend or fake friend. The teacher didn't care about Cara and it was the only way that the teacher knew about that Jake and me are not closer at school, so this is why the teacher did this including Cara hasn't make her move yet on me but if she does the school will make sure she doesn't lay a hand on me because that is how they are on guard about me; they even care about the other students. Also, I had to go to work that night and before I grabbed my violin to put it in the trunk of the car that morning before school because I had to go straight after school but I don't work that long, Jake was in my room and he came through my window including he picked up my violin and he sounded terrible; I'm standing there like what the fuck! He puts it down and he kisses me as I was trying to put it back in the case including when I was done, we kissed but then my mom called me down stairs to eat because I had to feed for two now. I told Jake that I would see him at school because we only have three classes without Cara in it including he smiled then he said, "I love you, Selena," and I said, "I love you too, Jake," because I guess he knows that I feel so lonely but I heard my mom calling my name once again and I went down stairs after I kissed Jake so more; he left out of my bedroom window, down to his car.

As I arrived to school with Gracie because I didn't want to be in the car alone plus I didn't want to get out of the car in the parking lot alone and Gracie knows the reason why including she understood that I wanted to protect my baby with someone there to be with me for back up, when there's trouble. We were walking together, so she can walk with me to first period because Cara pass by me everyday including Jake can't be with me at school and he doesn't want anyone to mad at me or to harm me but that is why he got Gracie to ride/walk with me to every class; me and Gracie are like close by in every class. Gracie went upstairs first to see if it was safe including she saw Cara with Jake because she was distracted by him but that means we were safe, so this means we had to go the other way and that was the safest way of avoiding Cara plus her girls. As we went the other way and Gracie texted Jake to go somewhere else so Cara doesn't see me including that way she doesn't know that I'm in first period with Jake but she was my fake friend because I heard it from our real new friend in our seventh period, I even didn't care anymore. I walked to my first period causally and Gracie tried to stop me including if Cara wants to say something then she can because I'm going to defend myself, the school even knows that I can defend myself but I got to stay low for now; when Cara saw me as I was thinking to myself and her girls even came up to me when I was in the classroom but the teacher had to stop them or else I go out of control including I will say something that I will regret.

I was thinking while it was lunch time and I was sitting with Gracie, that if I went out of control including that I couldn't stop because I've been bullied all my life, so that is why I always defended myself for my own sake but I also thought would Jake have stopped me or would someone else stop me and do his dirty work. I just hate it when he gets someone else to do his dirty work, but the bell rang and that is when it got my attention that it was time for class including I wanted to skip that class because of Cara getting to my bad side or pushing my buttons, I even had to tell myself to calm down. As I entered to class like usual and that Cara was out of her seat messing with Jake, again like usual but as I was going to my seat including I saw Cara going to her seat which was near me, then I had to smile like my day isn't fucked up at all because that is how I keep myself calm; Cara looked at me like if something was up with me. She looked at me even when class got started and I had to stop smiling to focus including she gave me a lovely note saying, "meet me after school bestie," I looked at her to let her know that I will because that is when I can lose control just once but then the teacher looked at me as I was trying to refocus on the lesson, I gave the teacher a look saying in my facial expression something is going to happen after school. She almost got done teaching the lesson and it was off to working on our own including as she finished on whatever she was saying, I got up to walk towards her desk that I needed to talk to her in the hallway like right now because I needed her to let the school know but as we went into the hallway and she closed the door behind her; I told her everything and gave her the note that I explained it's a fake, so she kept it!

It was after school and I had a long hell of a day but then Cara got my attention saying they are over there because I guess she wanted to meet me in private including I told Gracie to stay close if I needed her to go get Jake; I walked over to where she was and we had a nice greeting. It didn't get too pleasant of a friendly conversation and I didn't want to get suspended but just in time she said something about the partners thing including I knew this is what it's about but I couldn't do anything about it, I even told her that too because she had to know I don't control everything except the baby that is inside me but Cara doesn't know that I'm with child or she will tell the whole school if she finds out and make my life a living hell for good. I finally stood my ground with her and told her just leave it all alone because it's really not up to us to make decisions including I even came out and finally told her, "Cara just drop the friendly act because I know it's all your game," but my rule is or shall I say my quote is that I told her is this "Two can play the game but only one can win." She had a look on her face and I knew this was the arena because I'm winning every part of the words that I'm saying that is coming out of my mouth, she has no words to say what so ever including it's like she is trying to take my power but I'm not letting her steal any of my power, I also left it at that as the teacher arrived with the principal. I left after they arrived and I saw Gracie waiting on me as I was walking towards the car including I looked back at Cara but I really didn't care what she think of me now because I'm winning every part of the game, I told Gracie to get in the car because I had to get ready to go to work very soon; we got into the car and we were on our way but I knew I had to end that situation.
