Homecoming

                         I was  finally home after being locked in that taunting hospital room for five whole days (I would have been out in two days but bruce made me stay an extra couple of days to make sure that I would be "okay" but I pretty sure he was just freaked out about Joker abducting me again) Throughout this long week it has been question after question from Bruce, Dick and Tim came home, and tons of paparazzi. And worst of all Alfred couldn't visit And the night left tons of silence and space for thoughts, thoughts about my parents and what they were going to do next.

                         thank god I convinced Bruce to take me home, especially since tomorrow is my 12th birthday. I really just needed a normal day. One with music and family, well sort of family. I really just wanted to hang out with Dick and Tim all day, they were really good at stopping silence.

"Welcome home" Dick said as we walked into the manor " It feels good to be home" I said "much better than that hospital room" Alfred walked in and it was obvious he missed me he hadn't been able to visit me that often since the boys came back making his work around the house more time consuming. "Miss Lucy I'm glad your feeling well enough to come home" Alfred said with a big smile on his face "Alfred I've missed you" I said going in to hug Alfred. Bruce and Tim walked in and Tim said "I'm so happy to see everyone again all happy and healthy"he said as we all started walking.

"So what do you want to do" asked Tim "what about a movie" I replied "Miss Lucy that is a lovely Idea I'll go make popcorn" Alfred said as he left to go to the kitchen "so what do you wanna watch Lucy?" Asked Dick "How about the new Captain America movie I heard that civil war is really good" I said "That sounds awesome" Said Tim. We watched civil war but I couldn't focus on the movie which sucked b/c the parts I did see were really cool But I couldn't pay attention when all I could think about was what my parents were plotting. I was thrown back to reality when I was being shaken by Dick apparently the movie ended 20 minutes ago and I was starring at a tv that wasn't even turned on. "Lucy are you okay" asked Dick with a concerned look on his face "Ya I-I'm fine" I said "just thinking is all" Dick didn't believe that even for a second I could see it in his face "I know that it's scary being kidnapped by Joker but it gets better"He said "how can it get better my entire life is a lie" I said tears running down my face. "It's not all a lie Lucy we all really do love and care about you" he said. "Really" I questioned "Really" Dick answered "Now lets go and find Tim"

After we found Tim at his computer (obviously) we decided to make a giant pillow fort in the ball room like we did every year on our birthdays. It was a tradition to make a pillow fort and sleep in it the night before someone's birthday. We kinda out grew the tradition but I guess that since I was obviously in need of distraction they decided to do it this year, which I didn't mind because it was really fun. We got all of the blankets in the mansion and threw them in the corner then we got a bunch of random chairs, broom handles and pillows . We managed to make 3 bedrooms and a game room before it got knocked over and we had to start over. This resulted in the most epic pillow fight. After we finally finished our blanket fort and filled it with pillows. we changed into our pajamas and huddled up in the blanket fort. "Thanks for this guys" I said as we all snuggled in the fort. "No need to thank us it's your birthday we had to do the birthday tradition" Tim said " Ya we had to do it, next year you might not want to do it any more than we won't have an excuse to make a fort any more." Dick added. I chuckled "I will always want to keep doing this " I said "Good" Tim said. We all told story's and laughed till we eventually passed out on top of each other. Ending one of the best days ever.

Sorry this took me so long to write I just wanted to nail the characters to make the book better
