Lucy Quinn

Hope Hospital

When we made it to hope hospital they rushed me to the ER to get x-rays of my leg. They also disinfected the concrete burn on my face and stitched up my cheeks.

Once they were done with my face they sent me to the operating room to get an emergency surgery to fix my leg.

I didn't want to be put under but I physically didn't have the energy to fight back. I didn't want to wake up and be back with my parents. After the nurse guaranteed that I would wake up right here in this bed I let them put me to sleep.

I just hoped that when I woke up that I would be at the manor and that nothing would have changed.

P.O.V. Bruce

I had finished off joker and I was talking to Commissioner Gordon and he told me that Lucy crawled to them and started crying. He didn't know if they were tears of joy or sadness.

I was going to have to ask Lucy some questions when I visit her at the hospital. I am just happy she is alive and that we have her back. I know how much the boys missed her, and how much I missed her.

I just can wait to talk to her and give her a hug.

P.O.V. Lucy

When I woke up I was thankfully still in the hospital. When I looked around I saw all 3 of my brothers asleep in chairs next to me. They probably haven't slept either.

I was happy that they were there but, I was sad because I knew that when they woke up I would have to tell them what happened. I just wanted them to stay asleep and to have this calm moment last forever. But with my luck Dick woke up.

"Hey Luce how you feelin?" he softly questioned. "Tired" I responded, he chuckled at that. "Same" he slurred. "Bruce is out in the hall by the way, he is fending off the paparazzi" dick paused "he's going to be sad he wasn't here when you woke up, he really missed you, we all did"

"You did?" I shyly asked. "Of course your our little sister, I was terrified when they said Joker had you" Dick answered truthfully.

"So you don't hate me because of my parents or what I did at the GCPD?" I whimpered tears welling in my eyes. "Why would we, we love you Luce, no matter who your parents are." He seemed so heartbroken when he was speaking "besides you weren't yourself at the GCPD and that man is okay, you got him in the arm and he will be fine in a couple of weeks." I was crying

"Thank you Dick, I love you" I hugged him hard, he doesn't hate me. "I love you too, sis"

P.O.V. Bruce

I walked In to see Dick and Lucy hugging. I kneeled down next to her "hello Lucy" I whispered. Lucy jumped, letting go of Dick, going stiff she turned to look at me."H-hello Bruce" she stuttered.

"Are you alright" I wondered. Dick patted her back and whispered something in her ear and she calmed down "yes, thank you for not letting joker run away with me" she smiled. "No problem kiddo" I told her.

"So you're Batman" she asked mesmerized. "Yep, and Dick is Nightwing, Jason is Red Hood, and Tim is Robin" I responded to the girl.

"And my parents are Joker and Harley Quinn" she looked lost in thought. I sighed and gave a quick "yes"

"Man family reunions are gonna be awkward" she joked we both laughed back. "About that" I added in a more serious tone "you won't be seeing your parents for a while," Lucy's smiled dropped at the mention of her parents "I made a deal with your father, I said that if I got you first he could never speak to you again"

Her mood shifted she looked like a mixture of sad, happy, angry, and confused. "So I will never see my parents again" she asked with a confused and happy hint. "Never" I sighed happily.

I know what kind of people her parents are and I know how her mind works. she knows that they are going to come back for her but I won't let them. I just hope she knows that.
