It's finally the day of my best mates wedding... Liam and Niall. I can't believe how long I've been waiting for this day and here it finally us.
"Liam, you awake?" I knock on the spare bedroom door... Liam stayed over last night so that he and Niall wouldn't see each other before they get married... because it's bad luck to see the person you are marrying on on the wedding day before they get married apparently.
The door swings open "I'm awake" he says looking anxious "today's the day"
"Today's the day" I repeat smiling "how are you feeling?" I ask him
"Nervous... it's a huge day and the whole focus is on me and Niall... that's scaring me" he says
"There's nothing to be scared of... Niall and you were made for each other, today's the day where you show the whole world your love for each other" I tell him
"The whole world huh?" Liam laughs "it's not like we're apart of a world wide selling boy band is it" Liam Jokes smiling
"Ahaha true... but seriously Li. I wish I was in a relationship like you two" I tell him closing my eyes trying to keep the tears from falling
"You could be" he says walking back into the bedroom he sits on the bed. I close the door behind me incase Charlie comes out of our bedroom.
"What do you mean?" I ask him "not L-" I'm cut off before I can finish my sentence
"Yes Louis... I know it would be a huge risk but you know he generally loves you for who you are Harry... he wouldn't hurt you intentionally" Liam says looking at me
"But I'm with Charlie" I tell Liam
"Yes... the man who beat you up... the man who emotionally and physically hurts you. I knew before you told me the other day Harry. I know you too well to know when you aren't happy. Do you really think that you two will end up with a happily ever after?" He asks me
"He used to be different. When we first started dating he was such a gentleman, he'd take me out places... we'd cuddle up with each other on the sofa most nights even go to night clubs together... but this last year's it's all changed. If I talk to any guy I get accused of cheating on him. I'm hardly ever aloud out of the house on my own. I think this week was the first time in 5 months that he said that I could go out alone... I've given up on happily ever afters" tears roll down my cheeks
"I-I didn't realise it was that bad... I'm sorry" Liam says looking sorrowful "but this could be your chance to end this before it gets worse"
"But what if... he hurts me and tells me I have to stay with him?" I look at the floor
"You shouldn't have to stay with him because he tells you too. I'm going to be with you through every step of this if you want me to... if he lays a single finger on you I will punch his lights out. I love you Harry and it hurts to see you going though this all I want to do is help you. Please let me help you" Liam pleads I nod in response
"Should we do it now?" I ask him unsure of what to do. I've only ever broke up with Caroline... and that was a total different story.
"If you are ready" Liam says and I nod. We walk down the stairs and find Charlie in the kitchen by himself
"I've made pancakes!" He says smiling I give him a little half hearted smile in return "you okay love?" He asks me
"Actually no... could I have a word?" I ask him and he nods smiling gripping my waist making my blood boil
"Sure. What's the matter?" He asks
"In private" I tell him
"I'll be in here if you need me H" Liam says I give him a quick smile before I leave the room I lead Charlie into our living room
