chapter 17

*Harry's p.o.v *

I leave my house as soon as I put the phone down to the head teacher. I jump into my car and drive as fast as I could - but doing the speed limit. My heart in my mouth, maybe they have some information on where Stacey is.

I'm at the school within 15 minutes, I ring the bell and the intercom turns on "hello? Who's this?" A lady at the reception says

"Hi, I'm hear to see the head teacher. My name is Harry Styles" I speak into the speaker waiting for a reply

"Okay come right in, he's waiting for you in his office" she says buzzing me in. I walk into the school and down the corridor to the head teacher's office I knock on the door and I can hear him telling me to come in. I turn the brass door knob and push the door open walking into a very dull beige room with a desk with a computer and three chairs around it.

"You wanted me here as quick as I could? Is it about Stacey?" I ask him but he shakes his head

"No it's Louis. Niall said that you were the only responsible adult that we could call for... He didn't want us to call his parents, and we respect his wishes with the reason that he gave us" he tells me "Now...  Louis was caught punching another student earlier. So I had him in here with Niall. He then asked if he could go to the toilet so I let him go... Niall went a few minutes later to try and find him. But Niall came back and Louis was no where to be seen. Do you have any idea where he could be?" He asks me. Shock over rules my body. Louis' missing.

"I-I have no idea" I frown "he hadn't gone back to my house, so I have no idea where he could be"

"That's okay Mr. Styles... if he's still not returned within the next hour I will have to report him missing" the head says and I nod

"I'll go out and look for him, I can't stand the thought of him being missing from what he's been going through lately with his parents" I tell him

"It's more of the thought of him being suicidal Mr. Styles... did he ever give off the sign of being suicidal when he was with Stacey?" The head asks. I had to think, I've never heard him say that he wanted to kill himself... or anything along the lines of that.

"No not that I know of, why?" I ask him curious to see what has made him say that

"He's been saying that he is worthless and that he should die, to cut the story short..." he tells me

"Don't you think we should call the police now then?" I almost should at him causing him to jump a little.

"We can't, they won't do anything if he's only been gone less than half an hour. We'd be lucky if they actually do something about it after an hour" he says

"I'm going to look for him now" I tell him "if I find him I'll call you" I stand up and walk out of the room, then ran to my car.

I start the engine up and start driving towards the park, he might be there. It takes a few minutes to get to the park, I jump out of the car and can see people scattered around. I see someone wearing a jumper exactly like Louis', maybe that is Louis? "Louis!?" I shout towards the person but they don't turn around. Maybe he's got earphones in? I run up towards Louis and am met with disappointment when I see his face... it was a 40 year old man who looked nothing like Louis. I look around the park for another 10 minutes... Until I have the idea of calling him

The phone rings but goes straight to answer phone after one beep. I decided to send a message as he's clearly looking at his phone to put the phone down like that.

To: Louis
Please tell me where you are. I'm worried sick about you. I don't know what I'd do if I lost you aswell as Stacy.  I love you Louis x

Sent: 10:19 am

I hit send without realising that I put 'I love you' in the message... but that's when it does hit me that I do love Louis... I want to tell him that to his face

To: Louis
Yes, I do mean I love you... because I truly do mean it. It may have taken a while for me to finally say it, we'll write it. But I want to say it to your face Louis, please tell me where you are. You not in any trouble with the school is promise xx

Sent: 10:21 am

I just really hope that he reads them and knows that I'm being genuine with him.

I then decided to go home to see if he had turned up there, but I had no luck there either. I have no idea where he could be or what he could be doing. I decide to go back to get school, that's the only thing that I can do.

"Mr. Styles any luck?" The head asks if shake my head taking a seat

"None at all. I have no idea where he might be" I tell him

"Do you know of anyone who he may have turned to?" He asks which got me thinking... maybe he's not with someone he would turn to but someone who would actually try and kill him like he said he that he wanted to die. "Mr. Styles?" The head looks at me waiting for me to respond

"I know where he'll be" I say jumping up and running out of the building to my car as fast as I could, because if this person gets ahold of my Louis he may actually end up dead.

Sorry for the wait again... but the update is finally here! It was more of a filler then anything but hope you enjoyed.
Such sad news about Jay (Louis' mum)  couldn't believe it to begin with... thoughts are with the Tomlinson family.
