I'm not sure if I'm going to make this a short story or a regular length story (probably not a novel though) so for now this is the name.
Chapter one
As a child I would always wait at the door for my brother to come home from work. Not much has changed since then. Around the hour my nose would be on the old glass window. My mother always had a fit on cleaning day because the window would have little nose prints staining it. But still everyday I stood at the window impatiently for my brother to arrive. When he arrives I notice he always takes a piece of bread from his pocket and throws it to the ravenous birds in the front garden. Then he would open the door. As I turn my head with the biggest smile on my face, he would slowly start to come towards me. His facial expressions sullen. He would fill his lungs and say 'who is this little creature in my house?'. It would make me burst laughing. 'Answer me. have you used your blood sweat and tears to make this house?'. I would then reply with a meek 'no'. He would the ask me. 'Well while your here have you seen a little girl with big blue eyes and beautiful brown locks of hair?'. I would nod my head gently as he probably never understood from all the laughter escaping my lungs. 'you have! Well can you give this to her?' he would reach into his pockets and collect a small brown bag. The contents of the bag were always diffrent. Sometimes he would bring me wild cherries from the inside of the Buckingham Forrest. Other times it was a flower that he found on his way home. And my most abosulte favorite of all was the beautiful golden necklace he saved his money for. If you opened the necklace it would have a beautiful green emerald. I still wear it to this day. One thing was sure about his daily delivery from work. He always had something.
