A/n- sorry if this chapter's bad, I was completely stuck when trying to write it, it's kind of a flashback?
------------------------------------------
Sat alone again, in the cold and dull cafeteria of my own personal hell that people call "High school".
I hate lunch, it feels like everyone just avoids me. Like it's some unspoken rule "don't sit next to the crazy kid!".I suppose I don't blame them, who would want to be friends with the kid who looks like he hasn't slept in years, who is so obviously sad that he has to consciously remind himself to smile back at people, who-
A tray slamming on to the table next to me shook me from my thoughts."Hey" came an overly cheerful voice. I don't reply, they can't be talking to me... surely?
Whoever it is sits down next to me, shifting the weight of the table. I notice a few other people join me and this enthusiastic stranger, setting their trays down a little more carefully, I suppose they saw my nervous grimace. As I slowly turn my head I meet eyes with the stranger sat next to me. He has kind, brown eyes. Yet they seem to be so full of energy that it's almost scary.
"I'm Brendon" a genuine smile wiping across his face as he greets me, "T-Tyler"
"Tyler, nice to meet you!" Nice? To meet- me?
"We thought you looked a little lonely, so we thought we'd try to cheer you up!"
"We hope you don't mind." the girl sat opposite said with a little hesitation in her voice. Shaking my head with a faint smile plastered across my lips was enough to convince her that their company was welcome. In truth, I feel like I could cry. Im not good with new people, I'm so freaking nervous right now and I probably look it.That's when I saw him, the boy sat next to the flame headed girl that tried to comfort me.
His hair is a beautiful shade of blue, it reminds me of cotton candy. I have to stop myself from walking over to him and running my hands through it, it just looks so damned soft. His eyes a mocha brown, they contain a warmth that seems to radiate through my entire body just by looking into them.
I must've been staring because his grin widens, revealing the most beautiful smile I've ever seen, and a blush creeps on to his cheeks as he looks down at what's left on his plate.God, I would do anything to see that smile again.
