Miyah's pov
"MOMMY MOMMY GUESS WHOS HERE!" I wake up to hear kiy's voice yelling in my face.

"Who baby girl?" I say raising up stretching.

"Auntie." She says then runs out the room.

I was confused asl, I look at my phone and it was 12 pm, get up and go downstairs and see my sister sitting at the island. I run to her and hug her.
"HI TAIYAH!"

"I missed you too sis" she says getting up to give me a full hug.

"What are you doing here?" I say.

"I don't know it's not my surprise." She shrugs sitting back down.

"What surprise?" I say raising an eyebrow.

"I said I don't know." She sips some water she has on the counter.

"Mmhmm, where's August and my child?"

"I don't know he dropped me off then left."

"Ooh. Well since your here you wanna go out and get our nails done? We haven't hung out in a while."

"Sure, you paying?"

I look at her and laugh

"Yes Tay I will, take some of august money, he'll be fine."

"You scandalous sis" she laughs

I shrug and then pick up kiy.
" Come on baby girl, you want to get your nails done?"

"Yes!" She says excitedly.

" alright come on" I walk upstairs to her bedroom and tayiah follows.

"How you been though tai, I missed you." I say while grabbing a t-shirt from kiys dresser.

" I've been okay hanging in there."

"How auntie doing?"

"She's okay for the moment-"

"What you mean by the moment?"

"She was in the hospital, because she was really sick, we don't know what's going on with her, but when I left to come out here she was in bed rest and Janice her friend was taking care of her."

"I really hope she's okay." I grab some skinny jeans for kiy and hand them to her.

"Yeah."

" can you finish her outfit while I go get dressed."

"Yeah."

I walk out to the room and put on some black legging, white undershirt, a red hoodie and some PINK black slides. I put my hair in a somewhat high ponytail and apply some clear lipgloss.

We head to the nail shop after tai got kiylah ready and we drove to a nail shop about 5 miles away.
There wasn't really a conversation on our way over there but we talked at the nail shop.

" so what you been up to sis?" Tai asked me

" eh, I've been okay since I've seen you..."

"How's you and August?"

"We have gotten better."

"You sure?"

"Yes, I'm just waiting for his to be mature and , like when are we gonna be married, I've been with him for almost 9 years. I'm tired of waiting."

"You sure you want to marry him?"

"Why, what are you saying?"

" I.. just feel, well from what you've told me in the past, he can get a bit 'crazy'"

"I've never called him crazy."

"I just guessed from what you've been telling me."

"Only two incidents has happened and it was when he went to jail and when I got kidnaped, and the kid napping wasn't even involving August it was that other boy." I roll my eyes. Ik I was lieing like a mf but I didn't want to tell her.

"Sister, you do not have to stick up for that man, I'm worried about you not him. I just can't believe you've even been with him that long."

"It's my life, let me live it the way I want."

"Look I'm not saying i don't like August but I'm just worried about you getting hurt again."

"I'm not." At this point I'm just annoyed as hell and I don't say anything else to her.
