Unwanted

It has been 2 months after the wedding between the two princes.

Taehyung never saw Jungkook again after that night, well in their room. He did saw Jungkook in table for meals every day, he did saw him during royal meetings or gathering and that was all. They never saw each other in their private room. He didnt know where Jungkook spends his nights all this time but he figured he was probably in Jimin's.

And taehyung decided that they are okay. He is okay. And it didnt hurt.

But, it did.

It did hurt, when he lays his head in their or should he says, his bed, every night before he goes to sleep, he finds himself missing his husband. He somehow missing his presence.

It did hurt. When he wokes up late at night, thunders disturbs his peaceful sleep , hoping that his husband will chase away the fear. But instead he is greeted by cold air and darkness. The other side of bed empty.

It really did hurt. When he finds himself hoping for just one night his husband will come into the room and spends the night with him, like how husbands suppose to be. It did hurt when he wokes up alone and cold in his bed every morning.

But Taehyung knows better than to indulge himself in self pity and sadness. He believes he was born to smile, to be happy so he push every thought about his Jungkook at the end of his mind and continue living his life . This is living , right? Well Taehung doesnt know anymore when all he can feel is how his chest tightens , heart broken into pieces everytime he looks at Jungkook and Jimin. Yes, he is alive. He is sure about that.

Next week, Jungkook will be crown as the next King and Taehyung will be by his side as his Queen. At least that is what everyone thinks. Thinks that they are happily married couple that will lead the Kingdom.

Taehyung did met Jimin. And he instantly know why Jungkook loves Jimin so much. Jimin is a wonderful man. He is cute, loveable in every ways. There is no way Taehyung can compete that.
So he did what he did best.

Pretense.

Pretends to their parents that they are lovely couple that loves each other everytime  Jungkook smile at him, oblivious to all the pain he caused Taehyung.

Pretends that they spend the nights together every nights , spending time together as newly wed.

Pretends that they are okay and happy.

Well, he can do that. And he did well he thinks.

Taehyung spends his time with his servants, other princes and any other human being presence in palace. He somehow missed his friends back in Kim Kingdom, but he know he needs to adapt to this new life . In 2 months he basically befriended everyone in Palace, including royal doctor SeokJin and Chief guard Namjoon. His new two bestfriends. They always finds the time to spend with him, talking , laughing and telling him stories. Stories about Palace, the people and Jungkook.

He knows thay knew. About him and Jungkook. And he feels grateful that they didnt push him and understands him. At least he didnt have to pretends when he is with them.

He always spends his time in royal garden. He likes nature. He loves flowers and watching the flowers and taking care of them makes him forget about his pathetic life for a while.

He can now laughing with friends, smiling every now and then although maybe not as bright as he was before. He even picks up one hobby or two.

Flying kite.

He likes flying kite. Being free up in the air. How irony compared to his life .
