So here we were...saying goodbye.

Jenna had told me all about that stupid boy at the party and then tori and Troye told me that they took care of him for me.
They all said they'd look out for Jenna for me and teach her good.

I had packed up and Johnson was ready to leave.

He had his bags packed but me being me and being slow and a big procrastinator, I decided to pack last minute.

I spent most of the night talking with Jenna and learning about her more and she told me a lot. She thanked me for being there.
She told me it wasn't really the same with my mom since they're not close in ages but me and her were very close.

Tori and Troye gave me their numbers and we told each other that we keep in good contact.

I promised to.

I guess David was a very nice and good man at heart. The way he treated my mom was no doubt adorable and goals.

I'd love for him to be apart of my life. Him and Jenna.

We stood in front of my parents, giving them hugs and saying our goodbyes.

"Promise to see us on thanksgiving?" She sniffled once we pull away.
"I promise I will. I might even pop in from time to time." I shrugged my shoulders, holding in my tears.

"That's my girl." She smiled, another sniffle escapes from her.
I turn to David who had pulled me in quickly for a hug.
"Man, you're a good big step-sister." He hums.
"Big sister." I corrected him.
I didn't want to that step stuff. It's stupid and Jenna wasn't just my step sister. She was just my sister.

"Well, I'm thankful for you, Jenna, and your loving mother." He told me while pulling back.
"I'd hoped to see you again this thanksgiving. I'm hoping to go hunting out with my buddies and catch some good deer or something good." He chuckles.
"If that's happening then I'm coming with." I was very eager to hunt.
I never really did but David talked so much about it I might as well I try it.

I move onto Jenna who stood beside her dad with a wide grin.
"You better come back for thanksgiving or I'm running to la and dragging you here." She joked.
We laughed and hugged.
"Promise me that you won't fall for boys like that boy last night. And trust me, Troye and Tori's got your back. They can be trusted." I reassured her.

I rubbed her back before pulling back.

"Okay. I promise that I won't fall for assholes like him and I know I can trust those two." She told me.

I slowly nodded and head towards the über that was waiting for me and jack in front of the house.

Jack placed my bags in the back and we hoped in.
I waved goodbye to everyone before I enter the small car.

Short chapter I know but I'll publish the rest tomorrow and hopefully be done with the book tomorrow.
